Appears the entire traveling roster was vaccinated prior to CWS and therefore they are not subjected to testing in Omaha.
We were responsible and NC State was not.
Be mad at the NCAA if you want, but not Vandy.

Then why in the frick were vaccinated NC State players tested. If that’s the case then the NCAA should’ve tested Vandy’s vaccinated players as well.

I think most people are pissed at the NCAA. But in all fairness:
Vandy should have to bench whoever would have pitched against NC State
Why are they testing vaccinated NC St players but not Vandy players who shared the field with them yesterday??

Bc muh protocol dumb! It’s flat out STUPID. The protocol was set in place to get MORE vaccinations (and it didn’t even fricking work.) Only Vandy has full 100% vaccination

I'd be fricking pissed if I was a coach/player/fan of Ms St or Texas. The NCAA just gave Vandy a huge advantage moving forward.

Everyone knew the rules going in. Remember, rules are in place because of the legal agreements between schools, student athletes, and more importantly parents and guardians of the players. There's already a full year of following these rules. Schools have to protect the student athletes from Covid-19.
Vandy and all teams of college baseball were robbed of a CWS last year. Now Vandy is on the verge of finally getting to defend it's 2019 NC and it seems is getting broad sided by a few who refused to get vaccinated. They should have banned anyone who was not vaccinated from playing. But that of course opens up another can of worms.
The final breaths of Covid-19 is still getting its way. Don't blame any of the teams, they're the victims in all this, it is what it is.

They tested NC States known exposures to vaccinated players which now results in them having to forfeit but there will be no testing of the now known exposure to Vandys vaccinated players? Come on Man!
Pick and choose policy from NCAA has always been a point of contention and this BS just adds to it

Not irregular for Vanderbilt University but they are looking smart. They saw how the game was being played by the NCAA and decided to not let the NCAA defeat them in the CWS unlike NCST.

No, vandy isn’t at fault- but regardless of that fact, they are gonna receive plenty of scorn in the good old fashioned court of public opinion - and ncaa most likely has no problem with letting some anger be pushed off in another direction- facts and logic be damned!
