The SEC is down this year. I am an LSU guy through and through. We are not going to go 18 and 0.. not enough size or depth. Not good enough three point shooting. LSU is very very good though.

Honestly, yes. Basketball is a tournament sport. Just get in the dance, get on a hot streak and you can go deep into the ‘playoffs’. It’s why the conference TOURNAMENT champions get an automatic bid to the NCAA tourney, no matter who won the regular season. Where do you think the term “Cinderella’ in sports came from?

No it's not. The tournament champion gets an automatic bid for tv and money. If there wasn't an incentive then no one would care. Regular season champions are going to get at large bids anyways.
