Yep - Lane was born in Lincoln, and after that before Lane graduated Monty had jobs at:
- Arkansas (1 year)
- NC State (3 years, head coach)
- Green Bay (1 year)
- Buffalo (2 years)
- Minnesota (4 years)
- New York (1 year)
- Minnesota (again) (4 years)
