I hear this about quarterbacks and it makes no damn sense. What your really saying is jones can’t play in a system for a mobile qb which is true, if you ask Mac Jones to run the ball or make a lot of throws on the run and outside the pocket you probably won’t have much success, but it’s the exact same if you flip them. Design an offense to where someone like Lamar Jackson has to stand and the pocket and pick apart defenses and he would get blasted. No shite your not gonna play to a qbs weakness. If Mac went to a team that tried to make him something he’s not, that’s on the team for Taking a qb who doesn’t fit what they want to do. Your argument is like calling Tom Brady a system qb because he’d never be able to run a wishbone offense.
