You've probably told this lie so many times you've convinced yourself it's actually the truth

Here in KY, there are 2 versions , and I don't use either in every sentence.

Apparently not the SEC Rant. Here is just the first page of search results for Simmons in the subject only. This list only goes back 2 weeks.
Fair point, but I would bet nearly all of those were started due to the overwhelming hype he received so I guess it's backlash basically.

I don't know what our college flag is. I doubt it has a rebel flag in it. Are you one of the blue people from the eastern Kentucky hills?
Dash-right? Is this you?

Pat Forde is one of the best along with Dan Wolken. Never has an agenda and is very receptive.

ESPN, Yahoo, etc. only care about Ben Simmons to the extent that it makes them money. They will report on Simmons as long as people want to hear about him.
Before the season, consumers want to hear about the next big thing and the media delivered them that content. As an individual performer, I don't think Simmons disappointed. 20/12/5/2 is phenomenal for anyone, much less a freshman.
Right now, consumers want to hear about how the great Ben Simmons has failed miserably and the service providers are feeding you that content to consume.

I was more talking about commentators in games, it's hard to even listen to LSU play now. For instance, yesterday Simmons makes a pass - the chest pass- ooh eeee ahhh they went off on talking about how great it was. It was a pass I could have made and needless to say everyone on the court. It's like they are still trying to sell him as a beast on every little thing. That's really what I'm over. Stop telling us how good he is, I want to see with my own eyes.

Is your issue with the commentators or do you not think Ben Simmons has shown that he is good? You may be looking for a reason to hate him if you don't think 20 pts, 12 reb, 5 assists, 2 steals a game as a freshman is good.

Pat Forde is Louisville trash. frick that guy.

This is not Simmons' or LSU's fault.
The blame rests squarely on the back of the NCAA.
Where is the Yahoo article admonishing UNC and their entire culture of corruption when it comes to academics? Theirs was/is far more insidious, far more cancerous to the entire guise that the NCAA is not a multi-billion dollar business operating on the backs of young athletes, be they students or not.
If UNC can do what they've done and walk away free and clear ... well, things have changed in the NCAA.

Leave it to yahoo to pick on a University (lsu) that is a dumpster fire. Just sad yahoo.

NCAA has no control over draft eligibility.
The NBA raised the age to 19 to declare. Until the NBA fixes the problem, it will remain.
However, Kwame Brown being a shitty #1 pick was the impetus to raise the age to 19. Ben Simmons being a shitty #1 may raise the age to 20.

It really is odd how angry these people are about Ben Simmons. His struggles have been to their benefit. They should all celebrate him.

Forde: Look at me everyone. I'm going to bash a teenager in hopes of getting a lot of hits. I'm jealous bc that teenager is about to make 10s of millions of dollars for genetics and it pisses me off.
