frick frick frick this is bs the news just announced that UT was doing a volwalk with the band like they did years ago, so if there is a safety issue with au it would be the same issue with the fricking UT frick sticks.
AUBURN BEAT THEIR ASSES
UT does it with streets blocked off on the other side of the stadium where there's room.
I personally don't give a shite if their band and cheerleaders are apart of it.

Lane Kiffin had nothing else to do. He sat in his office, decided this and thought "yeeeeah. This will get them REAL GOOD!"

I cannot believe there are 6 pages of absolute bitching. Just go to the fricking gate and cheer on your team like you were going to in the first place. So what your band and cheerleaders aren't there. I'm pretty sure all your players, if they're worried at all, are more concerned with the fans than the cheerleaders and band.

What is the Tiger Walk anyway?
All teams walk into the stadium at some point or another.

I've heard the term before, but everytime I've seen the video I've been like "WTF ... that's it? Every team does that."
Am I missing something?

Auburn, supposedly was the first do to it
and i cite
he tradition began in the 1960s when groups of kids would walk up the street to greet the team and get autographs. During the tenure of coach Doug Barfield, the coach urged fans to come out and support the team, and thousands did. Auburn is the first known school to conduct an organized procession of players into the stadium. Today the team, led by the coaches, walks down the hill and into the stadium surrounded by fans who pat them on the back and shake their hands as they walk. The largest Tiger Walk occurred on December 2, 1989, before the first ever home football game against rival Alabama—the Iron Bowl. On that day, an estimated 20,000 fans packed the one block section of road leading to the stadium. According to former athletic director David Housel, Tiger Walk has become "the most copied tradition in all of college football."[1] As it grew in popularity, the Tiger Walk has become a fixture for road games. Fans will gather at visiting stadiums and cheer the team on from the busses into the stadium.

I'm not sure how anyone can claim "walking into the stadium" was somehow "invented" by a certain school.
Every team at every level in every season in every city has to walk into the stadium at some point. And 100% of those teams have fans cheering them on as they walk in.
Although I don't think the act itself is silly, the fact that a program would brag about it as being one of their biggest traditions is somewhat baffling.

Not in mass and not as an official event with cheerleaders and the band.

If LSU started what really is one of the most copied and popular activities or traditions (esp pregame), you would say something totally different. Period.

You guys do that at Tiger Stadium too?
If that's the case, I never knew it and will be lined up to throw piss baloons this year.

Of course we do. And stop with the piss balloons crap. Your arse would get killed. LSU fans are always respectful of our Tiger Walk.

How about you shut your arse dumbfrick? It is OUR tradition and we have done it for decades in dozens and dozens of venues (including UT). You goddamn asshats are the first frickers EVER to say shite about it.
I have never had a problem with UT. Now you motherfrickers are just asking for it.
And BTW, we will do it whether you like it or not.
