Broke his leg last year. New crop of very good receivers. Didn't win starting position. Already graduated and wants to spend time with his kids.

So you think losing to that team makes up for the huge diff in resume? Like I said... No team has ever been selected because of a better loss. Who you beat has always carried more weight.

I hope. I like bell, but he has to realize, saban don't give a shite about stats, no matter how talented you are. It's about championships at Bama, everything else is second rate. He knows these next two weeks will be Hell on the O, and with no stats to show for all that work, and kids at home, it is easy to see how he could get down and out about it.
