Oats did prefer Rojas over Watford. That’s a fact. Rojas was the #2 JUCO player in the country, Oats/Hodgson was on him back at Buffalo.
The FOGs in our fan base wanted Watford hardcore...and he is a great player and would have loved him on Bama.

If I remember correctly,
Watford played high school basketball for Mountain Brook High School in Mountain Brook, A1abana. A highly touted five star prospect, Watford holds many A1abana state records, among these is the A1abana High School Athletic Association’s career rebounding record. He led Mountain Brook to three consecutive Class 7A state championships from 2017 to 2019. On May 20, 2019, he committed to Will Wade and LSU.

We'll see if he's worth it. Watfords handlers had their hands out and we know who paid. Bama wouldn't touch him nor would Bruce. Oates wanted no part of them. Say what you want, but its been common knowledge for a good long while. You'll regret getting him before all of this investigating is over
