here is no spin... I was with the team . We heard all week leading up to it how good their backups were.

Brosephino, I'm going to spell this out.

North Carolina sans their starting and second string RB, their top WR, and their entire starting defense sans LB does not a team that is better than half the SEC make. That's where the spin comes in.

And yes, I am more than aware of the talent on that backup defense. UNC probably had more defensive talent than any other team in the country, and it wasn't close when you take that into account. Still, the point stands.

UNC's 2nd string is better than State, Ole miss, UK, Vandy, Auburns , and Arkansas's first string.

You can spin that however you want too, but that team was incredibly depleted.
No one is denying they had players out. LSU also had 4/5 starters out for the game. The point is the players that actually played were still highly rated 3/4/5 star players. They were not walk on scrubs as the media portrayed. They were still a good BCS team...better than the competition that every other SEC team played.

And to the OP that is taking a shot at our total offense numbers...When you have 300+ return yards, you are not going to put up huge numbers on offense because your drives are shortened. Considering we had 7 points taken off the board, I will take 37 points a game all day long.

Pouncey didn't exactly play up to that All-SEC Preseason label. I'm sure he'll get better and Florida will return to form, but that offense was just butt ugly.

North Carolina's second string is not better than half of the SEC. That was the statement, and that was the spin.

That's all.

You sure about that Ross?

If you want to live in your fantasy world where a team missing it's entire running game, it's best receiver and it's entire starting defense outside of the LB core is better than half of the SEC's teams, go right ahead.

A few high school rankings from recruiting services doesn't do anything for me. I already acknowledged the talent was there.

Like i said earlier, before LSU played UNC, every LSU fan on here was predicting a blowout.

I thought it was hilarious myself. Then, when y'all barely win, you spew this shite on the rant?

Come on..

Seems plenty are biting today....

FWIW I know we sucked, and should have won that game without trying... Our Offense is handicapped as long as Crowton is in the booth calling the plays.

Also I don't really believe that about their defense... I was just bored and decided to see who would take the bait

Not spewing anything here.

Miles & Co. deserve to have their pants pulled down and their asses spanked for that display.

If we play well then I will talk shite.

Until then, I will take the medicine.

We were awful offensively in Week 1. Our make shift OL got man handled and we couldn't get a snap to Brantley. Week 1 is over, we were fortunate to get the W, and now it's time for Week 2.
