Bielema actually recruits pretty well. Arkansas has talent all over the field this year. It will be evident.

Also, I have a feeling people will have a better appreciation for Bielema's coaching abilities after this season. The dude is good.

I'm not saying people should want to trade or anything, because there are a lot of good coaches in this league. I just wanted to point out that Bielema does an excellent job running a program. Look at Wisconsin if you think the guy can't recruit. They barely missed a step when Bielema left. Hell, they just beat LSU. And Wisconsin is actually fairly similar to Arkansas when it comes to recruiting.

I'll say this much...The only coach I would trade for Bielema right now is Saban. That may change after the end of this season, as I consider this year (year 5) to be the end of his probation period.

Arkansas doesn't recruit well and they don't have talent all over the field. Come on now. A piss poor year for LSU in recruiting would be yalls best class ever. LSU auburn and bama have talent all over the field...not arky.

Auburn is going to so the same thing to LSU. We're like twins

But also... Auburn is going to beat Arkansas for the fourth time in five years this season (and y'all lucked out super hard for the one win)

Guaranteed.

Duncan....

Heinz....

C'mon man. You have Gus for a coach. and YOu wouldn't trade? GUS! Good lord.

What our coaching staff could do with the talent stock piled on that team, with our Qback... We would beat Saban. You WONT! not with Gus, not again. EVER!

You have to be able to recruit talent. That is part of being a coach.

I mean I doubt Saban would be able to just walk in here and start bringing in #1 classes.

Bielema actually has signed 8 of the top 11 highest rated recruits we've had since recruiting services started. And not many teams can say both of their coordinators are former D1 head coaches. It's really confusing why he hasn't won more than he has.

Why in the world would we trade coaching staffs with a team that we just beat 56-3?

Seriously.. think about that for a second... 56-3... that's literally one of the worst in conference beats downs in the HISTORY of the SEC

Please explain to me how on God's green earth does your mind possibly twist that into a scenario that you think is even remotely logical?

You're probably drunk, so I want you to bookmark this and read it again when you've sobered up tomorrow. Then think how ridiculous that sounds.

No. No you wouldn't.

Tell me since Saban has been at Bama what types of quarterbacks have beaten him? What kind of offenses have beaten Saban?

Now once again, what possibly makes you think that Arkansas could do it with the coaches that have lost to Toledo and Louisiana Monroe? And in year 4 had to come from behind in the 4th qtr to beat Louisiana Tech by 1 point, and lost to a 4-8 Mizzou team?

And what makes you think that Gus won't? He had a good QB the first two season
Year 1: Beat Bama
Year 2: lost but scored 44 points, put up over 600 yards of offense, and set a school record with over 450 passing yards

The other 2 years he had to play Jeremy Johnson against Bama.

History shows, chances are pretty fricking good we beat Bama THIS year

I agree with most of what you said.

But the general gist of what you were saying about Bielema potentially beating Saban isn't entirely accurate. Bielema SHOULD HAVE beaten Saban three years ago now in Fayetteville. A 1 point difference in a game that saw one of our backs fumble the ball UN frickING TOUCHED going into the end zone. Unbelievable.

And that was with a pocket passer type QB.

It can be done. You just gotta want it more than they do. Problem is, they want it bad. They want it all and they want it now. They also have the best talent available. Haha. It's tough

Bielema never lost to ULM.

Not saying he's as good of a coach as Gundy but Oklahoma State lost to Central Michigan last year and everyone agrees he's one of the better coaches in CFB, they just can't get blue chip talent to Stillwater

LOLOLOL! Dude, you mad bro?

LSU hasn't won anything in years and still has to put down other teams to feel important. You hired O! let that sink in.

C'mon man. Nobody in the West is great other than BAMA. NOBODY! hopefully that will change. Heck, I root for LSU in that game. But to say that you wouldn't/couldn't see CBB and his staff being productive and successful with the inherent advantages of LSU recruiting is cray cray!

You would think LSU fans would by now accept this but nope, they think they're on the same level.

Pretty sure Bert has as many conference championships as O has total wins

Bert 5 years in the SEC = 10 Conf wins
Coach O part of a season in the SEC = 4 SEC wins.
Bert best finish 3rd in the west
Coach O best finish Tied second in the west

Won't take long to pass up that stellar fricking record.
