Would you say that AJ is a/the/not a leader on his team?

I've watched Bama from afar, ad then last year closer. It seemed like Lacy was the leader, either as the outstanding player the offense leaned on as well as the spiritual heart and soul of the offense.

AJ is a great player, but did the team rally around his leadership last year or was it Lacy and if Lacy, will it be a new roll for AJ this year?

Or, as another possibility, does Saban's detailed driven style allow those on field generals to flourish and assert their wills in the huddle?

AJ led at times last year. B Jones was probably as much a leader.

I always thought B. Jones was the leader. People were more likely to listen to him since he's all smart and shite.

Ever heard Lacy speak ? Yeah, he wasnt the vocal leader of last year's team... Maybe he led on the field by example though.

Barret Jones and Nico Johnson were the leaders of the team last year.

How do you feel AJ will shoulder the responsibility alone?

Eta: I see it will be two guys.

My opinion is unless your name is Kiehl Frazier or Jordan Jefferson, the QB is naturally the leader of your offense.

You would think that but he wasn't THE leader, just a leader.

Rightfully or wrongly he carries the weight of the team by way of his position. That doesn't always equate to leading.

Hell, I'm not sure if that's a positive or a negative. For what it's worth.

McElroy/Ro
Trent/Barron
AJ/Jones/Nico

3 NC's. Seems to work out well having a leader on offense and one on defense.
