Course if Saban, at 5'5", 140, physically abused Jesse Williams....that would be impressive.

I'd be a little sensitive too if someone threw a basketball from 5 feet away at my head dodgeball style

Plus it's not like this was an isolated incident. Not sure if any coach could survive the amount of evidence they have against the Rutgers coach.

You act like he wouldn't have the same clout if he has stayed at LSU and delivered a whole bunch of championships to your program.

Not really.

If the receivers were dropping passes all game long and Saban started throwing footballs at their heads the next day in practice yelling at them, "Catch the goddam ball, ya pansies!!!" I'd give him a raise.

Hell, Saban ciould retire from coaching and come back to Louisiana to run for governor and probably win.

Throwing basketballs at basketball players and they're complaining about it? Really? I'd call them a bunch of homophobic slurs too. I mean, isn't that part of the sport, catching the ball when it's thrown to you?

"Why did you miss that pass in the paint, son?"

"He threw it at my HEAD, coach!"

"Stupid fricking pussy, next time catch the got-damn ball."

TROLLOLOLOL

Good bit of difference between grabbing someone in football pads as opposed to headshotting someone in gym shorts..

Did you even watch any of the video out there? He slapped, shoved, kicked and threw balls at peoples heads when they weren't looking.

Verbal abuse could be worst than physical abuse. At least physical abuse the scars are seen on the outside.

Of course not.

Sounds like he's trying to re-create game conditions. You gotta be ready.

You obviously haven't watched much SEC basketball. No blood...

Fair enough. Perhaps not an issue I should make light of. Many of those guys have had a tough enough time as is.

I think no blame is given to the coach because he is tolerated as long as he is winning than the mental harm he is giving to the athlete in front of millions of viewers on TV and the stadium. He seems to not care at the immaturity of his actions. I can see him maybe trying to inspire the young mans play but we don't know what he is saying except by his animations on the sideline.

Im glad Alabama has so many fairweather fans like you.

I'm as opposite of a fairweather fan as you can get. If that were to happen, it would represent an action that would be the absolute opposite of what the fanbase and student base would desire. If they don't care about the wishes of their alumni and students, then they do not deserve my money or support. It's a matter of principle.

That will never happen, btw. He could sleep with the entirety of the female support staff on the 50 yardline of BDS, and he'd be fine.

Not a chance. He'd have to actually be the one that killed the babies he signs at the spring games for Bama to fire him.
