Would it be a failure if these teams went to the following bowls?

Outback, Gator, Belk, Texas, and Liberty are all technically on the same level now. Theoretically you could finish 4th in the SEC and still end up in one of those. It all depends on how the SEC and ESPN want to match teams up for the post season.

So as I asked would it be a failure? Just like when a number 4 ranked K State went to the Alamo, some considered a failure.

The only failure with KState getting bumped to the Alamo that year was showing how fricked up the bowl system is. (wouldn't matter as much now since that bowl has risen in the pecking order)

and no, being as good as 4th in the SEC wouldn't automatically be a "failure" IMO.

I actually think Ole Miss will end up in the Liberty. The rest yes. A&M will probably go to a Belk level bowl, but I figure it'll be the Texas or Independence.

I think all 5 of those are fails for each team listed even Ole Miss. But that is just one man's opinion based on my perception of how good each team will be this year.
