to start the season.
So you're admitting that Bama would - right now - be a double digit favorite over Oregon.
Thanks

"Beaten" and "Favored" do not mean the same thing.
You should know that by now.

You're a delusional piece of work as are the rest of your bama fans. If you have any knowledge of the sport, each and every game is unique to itself. Personnel match ups, playbook versus the opponent, home versus away, and the schedule in which you play are a few of the variables that make a difference in each game. Also, 1st string, 2nd string plus when and if the coach call off the dogs matters.
Your post reminds me of the a little kid that claimed..."My daddy can beat your daddy". Face it, bama lost to LSU 9-6 at your house. In the long run, it doesn't matter if a team wins by 1 or 21, it only counts as a win. If your team is as good as you believe, you wouldn't have submitted this post.
Let me spell this out for those that can't comprehend the facts. LSU finished with 13 W's and 0 L's. Bama finished with 11 W's and 1 L.
The only way you will find resolution is to beat LSU in the BCS Championship game. If, and I repeat, if this happens, congrats. Bama didn't deserve to be in the BCS game. What a way to "pussy" yourself into position for a championship.
The head-to-head outcome would stand at 1 and 1 for each team. BAMA winds up even on the year with LSU but luck out with the BCS trophy.
If bama were to win, I say play a "rematch game" to break the tie. Then I'd hear all the bitching and moaning to not play the 3rd time because you got your marbles and want to go home.
My call...LSU 20 bama 12 (2 TD's and 2 missed PAT's).

It would be close. But that's not the point.

The only team on that schedule which Bama may not have been a double digit favorite over is Oregon
May not have been. That's past tense. As in, in the past.
Don't change your statement just because someone called you out on it.

I don't think anyone is arguing this, nor do they care about it.
The fact of the matter is that LSU did beat those teams. LSU accomplished those wins. It has nothing to do with Alabama.

Bama 09 is better than this years Bama team IMO.
Don't forget the '09 bama team had to have the referees cement the game with a "non-interception" interception by Peterson on the sidelines. What a game changer that turned out to be.

The Oregon speed and tempo might have given bama more trouble than it did LSU because LSU is faster at LB and rotates more depth in the defense. I don't think it is a given that bama wins this game. It's not a good matchup for bama.

I know you wish Bama had our schedule so you can legitamtely claim that Bama's season we equally sucessful, but you just can't and that my friend is a fact. It doesn't matter, it will all be settled on 1/9/11 and you won't like the outcome I do predict.

Would never happen, no matter how badly LSU wins.

Why "Lester"? The man's name is Leslie.
Your insult makes no sense. If you want to ridicule a man with no penis, why attack his haircut?

All you folks who want to act like LSU is some conquering army which headed into the Hinterlands to pillage all challengers, while Bama just barely squeeked by an easy schedule can suck it.
So let me see if I can get this straight...
LSU doesn't have to schedule and play a tough schedule. All they have to do is set up a schedule that they can win and then CLAIM that they would have done as well against anybody else's schedule and thereby claim to be equal to those teams.
SWEET!!! Thanks for explaining this to us. Let's make sure that the people at LSU that make up the schedules know about this stroke of genius.

Alabama, land of the hypothetical reality. It's amazing how much delusion can fit into such a small state.

Yep, even in spite of losing AT HOME to one of said teams. See what I mean?
Pathetic, isn't it?

In some cases, Bama beat common opponents much more convincingly than LSU
Um, no. The biggest (and ONLY) difference in Bama's favor for any common opponent was four points versus Mississippi State. Bama won by 17, LSU won by 13.

Oh, really?
Auburn? 35 points (45-10) vs. 28 (42-14).
Ole Miss? 49 points (52-3 with 4 knees) vs. 45 (52-7).
Florida? 30 points (41-11) vs. 28 (38-10).
Versus Arkie and Tennessee, we each won by the same margin.
