When Saban retires ? After Mike Dubose and Price, I thought the Press Conference was an important criteria to be the HC.

Not a huge fan of him constantly bringing up God. But he's been a damn good coach so far. We could, and have hired, much worse coaches.

Too derpy. I'd say Freshwater. That man is smooth.

You just worry about how bad the Fighting Dabos will spank your team next season.

I don't know what coach they could get that would be a better fit

He made clemson better in every way in a short amount of time

They'll say yes right now because he's one of their own and playing for a title. But he's vastly different from Saban (both as a coach and as a person) and they'd tire of his act quickly once they had a few "down" seasons.

Kind of like Miles. The quirky and zany thing is cute until theres a few 8 win seasons in a row with some ugly losses and it wears on you.

I think Dabo is the heir apparent to Saban whenever Saban wants to retire

I think the PTB would be concerned with how that coach reacts to adversity compared to Saban. Everyone will expect some dropoff and the fans have short memories.

Of course. We could do worse.

He's a little too Jesus-freak for me. I wouldn't be happy with it anyway.

Could be, I do know that once he retires the program will be in far better shape than what he inherited.

Big no shite but still. more coaches will be attracted to the job.
