Quit fooling yourselves clowns.... With the exception of the Gumps, every fan would pay Coach O that money for the 2019 15-0 natty season & 11 of the 12 remaining would pay that for LSU's 2018 season.

And Ed will probably be extended if LSU goes 10-2 or 11-1. Just the way it is.

Yet your team has yet to make it to the playoff and just extended your coach and gave him a raise

sound logic there baw

You have to admit it’s dumb to pay Ed almost 9 million a year. Where tf is he gonna go?

What does south carolina do with all of that SEC money? Someone smuggling it to Clemson?

No, we just pay off shitty coaches. Muschamp is making more this year from us than Beamer.

The great thing about the Ed O contract is LSU will soon get to pay him that much not to coach for them while shelling out big bucks for a replacement, and now we know that replacement won't be Jimbo.

Thanks for the LSU/Bama stats. So all of these coaches with no 15-0 undefeated Natty's, SEC ships, Division titles, NY6 bowl wins are worth their salaries? Carry on

They sure are...by a lot.

By what standard?

If you have an employee that brings an incremental $50 million per year to your bottom line (and I am probably understating the impact of a top-tier coach), you wouldn’t pay him 25% of that?

You’re right! I’m thankful he didnt come here and do that-we’d be stuck with another fools gold Sumlin on our hands.

We’re happy with what Jimbo is building towards.

3. Ed Orgeron (LSU) ($8,918,500) LOL

I get why people keep putting Orgeon down.....BUT....he has won a National Championship. If he comes back with 10-11 wins this year I think people will have to at least consider him to be a legit coach. And I do believe LSU wins between 9-11 games, and if I had to guess, I would go with 10 games.

I mean...he's right, isn't he? It doesn't need to be an insult unless you choose to take it that way. If Ed Orgeron wins 10-11 games he, in my mind, proves he can get it done and 2019 was not a fluke. He would probably deserve a raise because I would imagine other schools would begin to take a look at him.

What makes you think Jimbo is currently a better coach than Orgeron?
