Not to mention McCarron doesn't have to play like Manziel to win games. Does't mean he couldn't put up fanfrickingtastic passing numbers.

It basically does.

How do you figure?

How come AJ McCarron didn't win the Heisman Trophy last year and JFF did?

Because it took one man's insane performance to take a perennial loser of 4 games minimum every year and turn them into a team that only lost 2 games in the toughest conference in America.

Whereas McCarron was just a really good QB on a team loaded with lots of really good players and a program that has won more national titles than the rest of the conference combined. Ergo, Bama has only one Heisman Trophy winner in their entire history whereas A&M has two because standout players stand out a lot more at a school with a history like A&M's versus a history like Bama's.

Ironically, without beating Alabama, JFF would never have won the Heisman.

Could not have been said better.

Seriously, SECR post of the year.

Whoa. Whoa. Steady now.

Only JFF is worthy of such hyperbolic praise.

You can pay me for my autograph though.

I've always thought the Heisman was a little overrated and political myself. I mean, I was glad when Ingram got it, just because it was nice for him, but I'd rather have a championship than a Heisman winner any day. Hell, I'd probably rather have an SEC championship than a Heisman winner.

AJ and T-Russ on the same team would be the makings of an interesting QB battle. I think if T-Rizzle was in the same situation as AJ, he'd put up similar stats.

Great analysis about a Bama QB by an auburn fan. I am thoroughly impressed.

What if I told you...

Ah.. never mind.

Let's just say I'm chilling in my offseason briar patch.

There will be plenty of time to dish out hate towards the Gumps when the season starts.

Would JFF still be on your team after......

He dissed your college on twit.
He flashed the rivals sign (Hook'em.)
After he got kicked out of your rivals party.
After he dressed up like a rabbit. After he got arrested for public intoxication.
After 3 people says he was paid to sign his name......

NOT NO , BUT HELL TO THE NAWWWWW.

As for your question, AJ is the best pro-style QB , IMO , if you are running an offense that incorporates a running QB , why would you want a pro-set QB ?

By the time JFF gets done with aTm (I think he is mentally done with them already), I'm thinking the Aggies are going to wish anyone else would've been the starting QB there.
