Who says that the playoff committee should select teams based on talent level?
If a talented team struggles to get by UNC, they shouldn’t be in the playoff.

Do you think UGA should be left out of playoffs if they win out.
why do you think UNC is a really bad team.

So the year that Bama didn’t win the SEC and got in over Ohio State, you don’t think Clemson’s destruction of Ohio State the year before had anything to do with it?
So if Bama finishes with one loss, and it’s a toss up between them and OSU getting in, the committee should remember Clemson’s emasculation of Bama last year by 4 touchdowns in its determination?

No.
Georgia should be done, no matter what happens.

If you swapped any team in the top 25 into the ACC in place of Clemson, the top 25 team would be the ACC favorite.
Since Clemson is currently the ACC’s only ranked team.

if it is Clemson and Ohio State, they will pick Ohio State if only b/c Ohio State has a much larger fanbase which should mean higher tv ratings.
and BIg 10 gets hyped up every season similar to SEC even though Big 10 has a lot of big slow white guys.

championship. you left out your reasons
And you left out your reasons for why this year’s Clemson should be selected in a playoff spot. They remind me of Florida St 2014. Just won a championship, cruised through the regular season and got exposed by Oregon.

that season, FSU struggled on defense all year.
That's not been similar to Clemson this year. I think Clemson's defense through first 6 games this year is probably in the top 3 in Clemson's history.

Wisconsin you mean? They would put 50 points on Clemson with their o-line’s physicality. Y’all don’t have that iron curtain d-line like the last three years

lol no way. Clemson would stack up against the run and they don't have the QB and WRs to exploit that.
Wisconsin is a more favorable matchup for Clemson than a team like Louisville which has good speed at skilled positions.
UNC has a talented QB and WRs.

You don’t have to be Joe Montaña to complete a few play fakes over the top. Clemson gets sucked into the line of scrimmage, take the bait and it’s good night. Maybe you will get lucky and get to play Wisky. I would take Wisky straight up this year.

i'm sure you take Clemson's opponent in every game if that team is ranked. lol
Clemson has a great secondary this year, better than last year.
Wisconsin has yet to play a good passing team and or a great rushing team.
Right now I would say LSU and Alabama are the teams with best chances at beating Clemson in the playoffs.
but neither one of them seems to have a great defense and Alabama's rush game doesn't look as strong as previous seasons.

That’s how I know you don’t watch football outside of Clemson. Just because a team hasn’t been challenged doesn’t mean they wouldn’t do well against better competition right? That’s what Clemson fans always tell everyone.

yeah but you are the one asserting Wisconsin would put 50 points on Clemson based on nothing.
If Clemson was struggling on defense, that would be more plausible.
i didn't make any projectiong that Clemson would dominate Wisconsin.
I think it is objective to say Clemson has more talent across the board, more balance pass and rush, and a lot more speed.
I think Wisconsin tends to be overrated by a lot of white people who like a team with more white players, both in football and basketball. lol
I watch a lot of games outside of Clemson. even watched Wake Forest vs Utah State lol

Yeah they only went to the championship game in 2015 vs Duke and were close to winning the game. But they were an overrated white team. frick off racist bitch

Clemson's regular season schedule.

i'm not saying they aren't a solid club in both sports, only that they tend to be overrated.
what is Wisconsin's record against Ohio State in fball the last 10 years. I'd be surprised if they had more than 2 wins.

says a Citadel grad and SC sidewalk fan
it is the playoff com's prerogative to leave out Clemson.
Clemson will be going to a good BCS bowl if they are undefeated or 1 loss regardless.
They would most likely would play a program it hasn't played before at least in the past 25 years.
Clemson's done the Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama thing enough. lol
i'd like to get a taste of that Wisconsin or PAC 12 red meat. lol
If Clemson wins bowl game and goes undefeated, there will always be an asterisk by the title for the team that wins the playoffs.
you might even see the Coaches and/ or AP poll pick Clemson first.
there's a real chance Clemson gonna cause a playoff expansion soon if they are left out.
which would mean SEC teams probably have to beat other SEC teams that they beat in regular season again, plus CLemson will be able to make playoffs even more easily as you see it.
playoff expansion will def make the regular season less meaningful. the games won't matter quite as much.
Clemson def should petition to move to SEC if they get left out as undefeated team. It would be great to see Clemson ruin SEC team seasons on a more regular basis. lol
i think this is my greatest SEC rant post of all time. lol

Yes. Recent history has to count when it’s as impressive as theirs has been. They are the premiere program in college football right now.
