It was Ole Miss. It was karma for firing David Cutcliffe.

It has to be Dubose.
Not only did he have Bama's first two losing seasons in almost 50 years, the program (including rogue boosters) had no discipline.

I have to go with Orgeron, he just isn't head coach material.

He was an amazing recruiter, the others were not.

how hard is it to recruit in florida? you have the best of the best in the state of florida.... and many others beating the doors down for a scholarship to gainesville, ill admit he brought 2 players to illinois but the reason that team was good was mendenhall not benn or juice as seen lately

Also, Jack Crow of Arkansas went 9-15 (.375), though he only coached one game in Arky's innagural SEC season.
Jack Crowe only coached one game that season b/c he lost to freakin The CITADEL at HOME!!!!

1. Hallman
2. Orgeron
3. Dubose
Miles is not in this conversation. Has the best record in the length of his tenure of any coach in LSU history. Has a National Championship, SEC championship, 2 BCS bowl wins, 4-0 bowl record, multiple top 10 finishes. Sorry, whether you like him or not, just the facts.
You would have to rank Curry, Shula, Zook, Cutcliffe, Felker, Croom, Price, and a number of other coaches as worse hires than Miles by far.

i cant put cutcliffe in that mix he did have ole miss pretty good

While I don't thing Cutcliffe was among the top group of worst hires, he certainly long term was worse than Miles. Cutcliffe's downfall was a lack of commitment to recruiting and a certain stubborness about replacing assistants, the latter problem being essentially the same thing that caused DiNardo's dismissal at LSU.

no way in hell can miles be mentioned as one of the worst hires.... maybe one of the worst game management coaches but never would miles had been a bad hire IMO
