Horrible waste of talent by OM. Kinda have to feel for the kid

Oh me too. I felt he was wasted as well. I thought he did well when he did play in 2004 in Cutt's system.

That Marc dude from Miami

Yeah Guillon was horrible, but what made it worse was he thought he was great. I remember Bama fans being so excited to get a transfer qb from Miami. And then, he sucked arse. And transferred again..

IMO moving him to TE was the dumbest move ever. Kid good move for a QB. Like you said just was the wrong system for him.

Yeah, I didn't like it either. I'm surprised he didn't transfer when Ed made that decision.

Bad enough to be the #8 overall pick?

They picked him. Not me. Maybe he improves. Hasn't played too much QB.

If you asked him, he'd say he was awesome.

In my lifetime? I'd have to go with Spencer Pennington.

I would've. As many schools that wanted him you know they would've loved to have had his services

jj 2010. dude had multiple games where he didn't reach 100 fricking yards including mcneese and vandy.

he went 8 games without a td pass. we won lots of games despite him.

funny enough the only game he didnt play like dog shite in was the bama game in 10

his stint in real games was so short lived I almost don't even count it, but you'd probably be right with that one

hs 3 game stint as a starter, he was better than JJ ever was. if he hadn't broken his leg, we win 2 more games that year, Lee wouldn't have gotten thrown in so early (thus less pick 6's), and the 2008-2011 seasons would have played out differently

Josh Booty
no way a guy who was first team all SEC makes this list. he didn't live up to lofty expectations, but he is far from our worst ever

Pennington was the worst regular starter in at least 50 years. Do you recall how bad it was when he went down to injury. We were left with Brandon Avalos who completed an astounding 5 passes for 18 yards in his 6 quarters as UA's primary quarterback.

Avalos was the worst qb ever to take a snap at Bama.

Tie JT 3 and Joe Cox. JT 3 was awful and while Cox had higher highs he also had lower lows. Also loses points for not having a soul. And shaving points.

Pennington put out my brothers high school team in the playoffs, he played with Prothro at Cleburne County(Heflin)...He actually played really well in that game..I hate him for that lol, but yeah he was abysmal for Alabama..OMGGGGGGGGGG the worst.

A&M and UA were the only games I remember LSU looking like an actual top 10 team. The rest of the time it was just painful to watch.
