2013 Missouri. The SEC east was awful and we would have been crushed into submission if the division had even been average.
Right?
Right?

2008 Alabama-lost to Utah

I flame Arky a ton
But it is pretty clear that it is Arkansas in this case

Was 95 Arky the bounce pass?

I'll bite. Alabama lost to teams that finished #1 and #2 respectively in 2012.

I'm on leave and I'm bored. Plus it's the offseason. Cut me some slack.

Should include 1993 Bama, got there because of AU probation, in what was probably one of the worst years in SEC football, only 4 teams with a winning record

I think we're the obvious answer

2008 Alabama wasn't bad, but they were overrated. They definitely took advantage of a down year in the SEC West.

93 Bama did go 1-12. Good point.

Nah...we are 2nd. We gave Tennessee a good game in the championship game at least.

It's 95 Arkansas by a country mile. They beat SW Louisiana by 9 points at home, they lost to a 1 win SMU team, they lost 3 games to unranked teams, in their five losses they averaged an 18 point defeat.

I'd say 1995 Arkansas wins this contest fairly easily.

They weren't worthy of that #1 ranking. They were a horribly undisciplined team living off the hype of Colt McCoy hurting his elbow.
