Banner Society article on worst defending NCs ever in CFB

Bama, Auburn and LSU teams made the cut.

The 1934 Michigan team seems familiar with all of the personnel loss and a 15-0-1 record going into 1934

NOBODY with a brain expected a NC with the losses we suffered since last year. Most were hopeful, but had realistic expectations: 6-4 & 7-3 were pretty realistic.

Then, throw in the fact that our AA corner is out for game 1 against probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC and things get dicey pretty quickly.

I'll agree that our play was mind boggling at best, but there hasn't been a NC that has lost the amount of talent / production that we did, so.

There is literally not ONE LSU fan that predicted 7-3 or 6-4. Welcome to reality.

Not to mention the coordinator and position coach changes. It is part of it. Stack to reload and find guys who will come in and fit your system and terminology without trying to change it.

If so, you’re the lone soldier. Now that I think about it, in that preseason thread, there may have been one realistic pick. Must’ve been you.

Dude caught a whole shrimp boat full and didn’t use any bait. But I guess that’s how it works with shrimp IRL too.

So, are shrimp intelligent? Discuss

I mean I wasn't necessarily expecting to lose to State but I expected a 2018 type LSU team.

I think I predicted something like 35-31 yesterday, I figured KJ and the Air Raid would take a little longer to click on all cylinders.
