He fights with anyone and everyone that dares call Les anything but the greatest ever.
Well, Les is the best coach to have ever coached at LSU. Saban was good at LSU, but he didn't step it up to another level until he got to Alabama.
It kind of makes sense that LSU fans defend him, he's been pretty good while he has been here.

Guess that's why we outscored our opponents in '2011 - FIVE HUNDRED to 123. And only 63 of those 500 were NOT scored by the OFFENSE.
9 of those 13 teams were bowl teams. And only one victory was by less than 13 points....
Wowwwww...What """"luck!"""""
LSU's offense scored 392 points in 2011 with 4971 yards. In 2012 LSU scored 287 points with 4865 yards. LSU's 2009 and 2010 offenses were terrible.
As a comparison, AU's offense in 2009 scored 343 points with 5613 yards. An offense in its first year with a noodle-armed QB. Of course, in 2010 Auburn had 6989 yards and 504 points.

its a very weak argument and that component has been disproved.
Damn. Simply saying that it has been disproven without any evidence to do so is all that is necessary? I'll remember that.

I mean, it is a list of NC winning coaches, so no one is saying he sucks. Just several other BCS Championship winning coaches are better and a few are worse.

Speaks volumes about LSU's offensive history.
Yet Auburn STILL has a losing record vs LSU.
So does that speak volumes to LSU's prowess on defense historically, or Auburn's lack of defense historically?
You young guys are a scream. To you, if your team doesn't throw the ball all over the stadium, they suck. Tell that to Tom Osborne.
There's more than one way to win football games. Running the ball, playing opportunistic defense and fundamentally sound special teams will win you a lot of football games.

I believe you're confused. I believe that Chizik is/was a terrible coach.

Chizik, hands down. Last year his expression on the side line was priceless in it's cluelessness.

so do you believe Miles is/was a terrible coach?

Not sure how you could put Les Miles on there. Les has managed to do a great job for a sustained period of time. There isn't a school in the country (minus Alabama) that wouldn't want him as their coach.
Frankly, if Saban would not have succeeded at Alabama Les would be considered one of the best coaches. Les's fault is that he is constantly compared to "What could have been". Thats a totally unfair comparison.
To boot, how could you leave Fulmer off that list?
I would rank the BCS era as....
1. Mack Brown
2. Phil Fulmer
3. Larry Coker
4. Gene Chizik

Left Carroll off because championship was vacated.

The myth of Texas is astounding
If second-most NCAA victories, top-5 win percentage, second-most bowl games, 32 conference championships and four national championships is a "myth," then the idea of A&M being a "national power" is a farce, nutgrabber. That means "joke" for the slow-witted.
By the way, if Fred Akers had coached in College Station (a Heisman, an Outland Trophy and Lombardi Trophy winner, and two near national championships in 10 years), there'd be streets named after him and aggie men in their 30's named "Fred."
I'm also confounded at how you left D.X. Bible off the list of great Texas coaches (you know, the same one you aggots are naming a whole corner of the stadium after).
