You don't win consistently in the SEC while stinking
Even though LSU gets unbelievable talent(LA is a gold)
Miles still has to coach the games and win
In my lifetime I've seen many coaches take good talent and come up short or totally blow it. Auburn the last two seasons is a good example of all that. They've had sufficient enough talent to win 8-11 games a year, but with no leadership at the helm Auburn failed miserably. Could LSU do better with a different HC besides Miles? Sure, but they could also do worse. The unknown is just that, unknown. I don't think Miles will ever be truly appreciated by some LSU fans until he's gone. Plus, I think Saban doing something rare at Bama has made some LSU fans expectations go through the roof. LSU fans expect Miles to win it all every year like Bama has done. The whole Saban situation has made things more difficult for Miles, but many coaches(Example: Meyer) would have already packed in in. Shoot, many coaches/programs have done just that. We can say the same for Bama fans expectations too, but still..... Miles wouldn't be so pressured or insulted after every loss if Saban wasn't winning 3 of 4 BCS Tittles right now is my point. Miles has to win the reward for "Fire Him, he doesn't have a clue" -vs- "He's the coolest and greatness coach ever" Never seen a coach go from one extreme to another like Miles goes through with LSU fans. I know one thing, the SEC would be less without Miles in it.....

CLM's wins the bowl game and he's won 10 games a yr for 4 yrs in a row. He has the best record in the league against "god". He has the best record in the SEC going back the last 10 yrs.

LSU had the best regular season in college football history, two SEC championships, a national championship, and had fewer than 9 wins only once under Les Miles' tenure.
