Wish case scenario for LSU, burrow leaves along with half of your team (most of your difference makers) and Brady gets an OC job, and you have Brennan starting at QB with no one around him. That scenario is now likely than the one you put forward
Guess who doesn't know much about LSU's roster?

Who gives a shite about a bowl game anymore when you're an elite program? If you don't make the CFP, it's basically season over.

This thread isn't fun anymore.

Yes they can! Probably, will after Brennan takes the reins.

Alabama is getting Bryce Young.
Does any other SEC team have someone of his caliber strolling in?
Nope.

So their worst-case scenario is 10–3 and possibly a top ten finish? They went 10–3 in 2010 and then won the following two national championships.
There really is no worst-case scenario for Alabama in the foreseeable future. They're set until Saban retires, and then, as their typical luck would have it, Dabo Swinney is an Alabama grad who played on their football team and won a national championship in 1992. So it's more than likely that he steps in, and being the only person who's given Saban a consistent run for his money since he came back to the college ranks, they're probably not going to miss a beat.

Most all of the LSU offense returns in 2020. The defense is another matter. Brady has already agreed in principal to an extension

Don't think 15 people in the state of Alabama will care about the outcome of a NY6 bowl.
