Freddie Kitchens was not a real bad QB. Alabama had some very good seasons with him at the helm. There was a black QB who started several games at Bama and he was awful. I think his name was Andrew Zow?

Marcus Randall in 2002 deserves an honorable mention.

the game he stated for the Tigers was one of the worst performances by a starting qb ever.

The current level of suckage being displayed by the QB at the University of Alabama at Tuscalooser may not be the worst, but it's worth mentioning

I don't know about other schools, but Spencer Pennington or Brandon Avalos for Bama have been the worst QB's I've ever seen at UA.

ok, granted he might not be the worst, but why shouldn't he get at least a mention? He had 9 TDs and 13 INTs last year as a SENIOR.

He got progressively worse as his career went on.

Hi Lewis ,Vanderbilt . Started game one in 1998 vs Mississippi State. Beyond pitiful. He made every guy already listed look like Joe Montana.

andrew zow was pretty good. our joe tereshinski III at uga was a helluva good kid but should never have started a game for a division one school as a qb.

29-9 as a three year starter deserves a mention as worst sec qb of all time.

Damn, forgot about JTIII, he was bad. It seems like whoever Croom trots out there has been awful though. Wish he could get a good QB.

Anybody who watched the LSU-Auburn game in 1994 automatically votes for Jamie Howard. Throwing into triple coverage......take a look at the attached video and pause it after he throws so you can see WHAT THE HELL HE WAS THINKING WHEN HE THREW THE DAMN FOOTBALL! My sophomore year at LSU and I wanted to vomit and then start a West Virginia style riot on campus.

Overall team record is the absolute worst stat to utilize when evaluating a QB. I cringe every time I see an analyst use it.

What i couldn't get over is that yalls coach kept electing to throw the ball in the second half with the lead. It reminds me of the 05 game when tubs kept going for field goals. Talk about two games that make LSU and Auburn fans vomit.

Andrew Zow is probably the guy you are thinking of, but your opinion about him is wrong. He was pretty damn good, won several BIG games for us. He would probably have held a few more passing records if he would have been a full time starter, instead of splitting time with Tyler Watts.

My vote for worst stater is the Auburn QB who was the starter for a year or two BEFORE Jason Campbell...dark, Brodie Croyle style hair...really pathetic.

Hell what about jamie howard, Booty was pretty bad even though he had all the tools.

6 INT game vs AU sells me on Howard though

Jay Barker had a pretty good win-loss ratio. He was a winner, but not a good QB.

Although he did have a successful CFL career.
