No wonder the aggies are the butt of every joke here in Texas, they just ask for it.

LSU will still have a ferocious defense even though nobody outside the players families has ever heard of any of their defensive line or linebackers

This whole grades thing is smoke and mirrors. Garrett to aggy in 2016.

Oh the horror that he would do something so unprecedented.

I don't think most LSU fans liked him. Am I wrong?

Basically, what has happened with Chavis is akin to when he came to LSU. Except LSU fans are now in the role that Tenn fans were in. And A&M fans are now in the role LSU fans were in, but to the 12 x steroids degree.

Excellent? He was good defensively but hit something like 240. LSU easily made the right choice there.

So LSU's top defensive recruits are already trying to leave the program because they think Steele can't coach

THIS is what happens when you have to settle for your 4th-5th coaching choice because your program is in financial trouble and your head coach is on the hot seat

Well, there you have it. One more person Aggy can blame for their inability to beat LSU in football.

I never realized how badly Texas fricked up the heads of Aggy fans. Aggy fans have to have someone (big brother) to hate on all the time, take the blame for athletic failure, and basically play the eternal villain. You don't know how to exist without it.

All LSU all the time doesn't even begin to tell the story. And, thanks for keeping up with LSU's roster.

Word on the street is that Miles still has respect for Chavis and didn't want to put him the awkward position of having to say no to Clifton Garrett.

We liked his schemes, they worked well against spread teams of today (largely speaking). He certainly had some faults even as a DC but overall very very good coordinator.

As a recruiter he was simply terrible, the dude has no eye for talent. We recruited like 6 LBs in 2012 and he was in on zero of them. From 2013-2015 they tried to get him more involved in recruiting since LB was his position after-all and he landed 3 guys in 3 years who are currently on the team WITH the help of our main recruiter Frank Wilson as well. 3 LBs in 3 years, that's awful.

As a position coach he was maybe average. LB was never really a "strength" when he was here but it was certainly hard for it to be with the talent that showed out at DL and DB. I'll never forgive him for moving Kendell Beckwith - by far our best LB this year and last, to DL to start out meanwhile he started arguably the worst LB in LSU history in DJ Welter at MLB for 1.5 agonizing years. I mean this is something the fans were calling out this entire time but it took him 1.5 years to realize Beckwith was 50x better than Welter.
