Why are so few people mentioning the car? If Tennstud was right about the grades, what about the car?

So what did TennStud say re: Dooley?

Because Finebaum and the current caller seem pretty shocked by whatever he said about Dooley.

Here's the link to that...

quote:

For many years the head football coach at the University of Tennessee has been invited to speak to the Memphis TD Club. Coach Fulmer insisted on the last date available, the second Monday in December, so as to not interfere with the SEC Championship game, which the Memphis TD Club obliged. The University of Tennessee coach has spoken to the Memphis TD Club each and every year since its inception, some 30+ years. This year Coach Dooley, finally, finally, told the Memphis TD Club no, thus freeing up the date, Monday, December 10. Alabama's Coach Nick Saban immediately jumped at the opportunity to speak. Thus, because of limited accomodations at the Memphis Chickasaw Country Club, the meeting will be help at a larger venue, The Memphis Racquet Club, to accomodate all the Alabama fans, Memphis high school coaches, who desire to attend. Two years ago Coach Saban spoke and some 120+ guest appeared, paying the $50.00 price per meal, greatly enlarging the Memphis TD Club's treasury, the largest crowd in the Memphis TD Club's history. Naturally, several members of the Alabama coaching staff are coming with him to recruit Memphis while he's here.

Our compliance department was on top of this a while back, and word is that his father died on a job and the family got paid around $250,000.

Zeke - 4 star
Jovon - 4 star

Jacquay Williams and Hutcherson still not cleared?

That class is already falling apart.

Let's be honest, it's not unusual for grades to be changed for students and not just the dumb ones either. There are probably a bunch of students in the Ivy Leagues who got some help along the way

Hutcherson and J. Williams were both cleared. However, at this point, there's no telling for how long

This guy is basically saying he had a new car and it had Auburn flags on it...any bumfrick with $20 can put any kind of flags he wants to on a car...

As long as no one from Auburn changed his grades or bought the car, and I'm 100% sure they didn't after the past 2 yrs....wild goose chase.

Remember the new pictures of the trees? Now we know.

I know, that is stupid. But it sure is weird.

That hardly sounds shocking or ridiculous if that's all he had to say about Dooley.

Interestingly enough, Fulmer is speaking to the Touchdown Club of Memphis on Oct 22:

Maybe Dooley just dispatched Fulmer?

Oh no, 2 players missing from a recruiting class.

Passed their summer classes with the needed score, and also have the scores needed from the ACT.

Keep going full-retard, by all means.

That's what Jovon Robinson, and his family, are telling people. And that did happen to his father.

That's a lot more credible than Auburn buying his car and paying him $250,000 when we could've had him without all of that.

Word is Tennstud is the one that aired that "official" version of events.

ETA:
quote:

At today's Memphis area weekly luncheon the Wooddale high school football coach told this story and agreed that it was alright to tell the world, that he thought Jovon would want the truth out! Thus, here is today's story:

Jovon's father died from an accident while at work. Jovon's mother sued her husband's employer for wrongful death. They settled for $250,000. She bought the car for Jovon, paying cash. She has placed $100,000 in an account for Jovon. This is the story that Jovon has told the Auburn authorities which has been passed on to the NCAA after their inquiry into Jovon's eligibility.

Now this is today's story.

That's not the quote. He was saying something in regards to Dooley having attended the Virigina but I only caught bits and pieces.
If you find out please post (if appropriate)

I think Tennstud is just bitter that Tennessee sucks so he is probably the one pushing this with the NCAA. Just like when Phat Phil kept losing recruits to Bama.
