Why would they let the kid stay in college, if he didnt really make the grades to get into said college?

Besides the transcript, what other topics are they asking about?
They asked about his car, which has already been explained

If you really think about it and the fact that RA is the one posting the inside info, it's not that far fetched to thinked he would set something up to get both Bama and Au in trouble. All he has to do it get the ball rolling and let Bama's and Au's lunatic fringe fans do the rest.

If this were happening at Alabama, one of the things that would make me uneasy is that I think I read somewhere that two different schools who had his transcripts from his junior year noticed the discrepancies after they were sent in his senior year and reported it to the NCAA. The implication was that Auburn wasn't one of the schools that did. If that's the case, and they have information that someone offered the counselor some sort of incentive, it looks a little fishy.
But lots of things look a little fishy for a lot of schools, and the NCAA is totally arbitrary about what they pick on.

If true, I think it would be hilarious of Alabama and Auburn fans banded together and it backfired on him. I think he's irritated that his brand of boostering is becoming out of vogue in 2012.

I don't think that's it. Why ask his coach from two years ago about a car and money he got access to this year? Also he said they asked about topics other than Robinson.

At this point, we don't know if the questions were about Auburn, Memphis recruiting in general, or another school altogether. Maybe they were asking about Roy Adams. LOL

ohhhhhhhhhh he in troubleeeeee

All FBS schools need to drive around Memphis. That place is a cesspool of corruption. Nothing good comes from it.

Why is the current coach not in trouble for leaking information to 10 stud?
If Roy Adams is on record saying the coach told him his info (which he is) and the coach has admitted such (which he did) then Mom has a clear-cut FERPA law suit that the district/school will lose.
Seems like a similar argument is being made by another group of fans of a different school about a transfer.

Well, so now you are going to believe Roy Adams?

I'm pretty sure NtY and REC banding together is a sign of the Apocalypse.

The best lies have an element of truth. It is clear that 10 stud got info about grades and the coach gave him that info.
But I do not believe he has more and will now add rumor, innuendo and lies to the story.
I value your opinion and your post. Welcome back.

Thanks for the welcome back! And I totally agree with you about the truth in lies... you just never know how much of a thread of a truth is in it. I think if we are comparing apples and apples, the Reuben Foster situation is more closely related to the Darius Paige situation.
With regard to this, I obviously don't know squat, but Roy Adams has set people up like he says he did (
), or he's trying to look like he has more power than he does now that he's not in favor with the current Tennessee coaching staff, no telling where he heard stuff and who he is blaming for it. Seems like if he had more info, he would be crowing less about it.

I get so tired of fans hating the other team more than they like their own.

I love Auburn and Enjoy friendly rivalries.
ftw

Ditto. It's pretty much an attitude that carries over in all aspects of life. They probably talk bad about their peers at work to their boss - you know - those people.
