If Bama wins by 30, Jawja is sadly out

Nor should it. If it does, then that's the end of conference title games. Which points to the fact a college playoff is a F'n bad idea.

would be hard for Bama to end up ahead of UGA.
You’re over thinking this, even the committee isn’t this dumb. A two loss uga(both losses to bama) will not be ranked ahead of 2 loss sec champ bama. That’s stupid.

The committee is there to ensure the "right" teams get into the playoff, not necessarily the best teams.
Blue bloods and brand names will be given every advantage. They will forget Bama got body-slammed by Florida State, and that ND lost to the Canes and the Aggies.
And they will explain it all away shamelessly.

That should probably read :
it will not drop a team playing in a conference championship game beneath a team that is not playing in its conference title game unless the committee wants to.

Simply Untrue. SMU played in the ACC championship game last year and lost to Clemson. They dropped below Indiana who did not play in the Big 10 championship game.

I see the point that why should the loser of the CG be dropped below others because of actually being in the CG.
Ex.:
Team A is 11-1 & in the CG.
Team B is 11-1 & not in the CG.
Team A loses the CG ending up 11-2.
Should Team B be ABOVE them by playing 1 LESS game?

I remember UGA beat UF & played in the SECCG where they lost & were given a lesser bowl than the Gators.

This committee is the worst yet. The chair had to resign, I am guessing scandal, and they put idiots who didn't play the sport in important positions ...
