My goodness. Yes, Bama players are dumb. It really doesn’t matter for jeudy. Run fast, catch ball, make millions, the end. Tua will be a bust in the NFL. He’s dumb as frick and made of glass. Moving on....

You were very generous not to quote his whole post.

I'd bet all my stimulus check on the fact that had this wonderlic test been aced by your a1abama QB... you wouldn't be calling it flawed.

Certain players, not to name, names could have actually scored higher than a larger percentage of the testers who took the wunderkind. If a fair and equitable grading system was in place.

So, people quit believing all the lower scores are dumb and by that admission, not all the middle to high scores will be entirely accurate of an account to that tester's brain power.

It’s not an IQ test. It’s a cognitive ability measure.

The point of the test isn’t if you read it 10 times you can understand it.

It’s can you, in a quick fashion, read, understand and can resolve.

You know kinda like reading a coverage for a QB or a blitz for an OL.

Third thing is this; a qb will have ample time to study defenses and learn the calls if he can remotely play the position.

You really are clueless on this. It’s not whether a QB or any player at any position has weeks, months or years to study defenses or offenses.

Teams gameplan for a reason and work tirelessly to disguise to not be predictable.

They may run the same play but from a different formation or may add a different motion on O or a different blitz look than what is seen on film.

So the player must, in the moment, recognize what’s being done, adapt and perform.

That’s what the test, in part, measures. The ability to recognize quickly something you haven’t seen before or prepared for.

Congratulations on having a background in pseudoscience. The Wonderlic is 100% valid as a method of testing general intelligence- I’ve taken it and my results were in line with my IQ test and my ACT/SAT scores. Not being able to read worth a shite or quickly make accurate calculations in your head is a sign of being stupid, I hate to break it to you.

Why wouldn't they just offer an IQ test? Or maybe the Wonderlic is highly correlated with IQ scores? Tests that have been deemed culturally biased are not the problem though as IQ tests that have been stripped of supposed cultural bias show even greater racial disparities.

Ah yes of course it’s flawed, as is the IQ test.

What else could possibly explain why white people and Asians score so much higher than blacks on average?

I guess you believe evolution stopped at the head?

I don't understand the aversion to appreciating real AVERAGE differences between races in intelligence. Just as Blacks may be more genetically gifted on AVERAGE, for athletics, Whites and Asians may be more genetically gifted on AVERAGE for abstract intelligence. It doesn't mean you can label one race as superior to another. There are so many traits that it would be impossible to label one race as superior to another.

Even upper income Blacks have a lower AVERAGE SAT than lower income Whites, so how can the difference be due to cultural bias or White privilege? How do poor East Asians still manage to score on AVERAGE, so high?

The main reason I point out real average differences between races is because we live in society in which Whites are being blamed for the failures or inabilities of CERTAIN individuals who happen to be non Whites, and it needs to stop. I refuse to be blamed for something that is not my fault. I also don't want to see more non Whites gas lit to hate me and my race.

Melting a TL;DR for a former player's score on a standardized written test.

You couldn't keep this shite inside until you could call Pawl on Monday afternoon?

they graduated Magna cum laude and cum laude.

Girl I dated in college was a functioning retard but had a 3.7 GPA. Took her 4 or 5 times taking the GMAT to get into grad school. The odd thing is you want to discount one metric to say it says nothing about intelligence and are now replacing it with another even more unreliable metric. Grades, especially at a large stare school like Alabama, is probably the worst indicator of intelligence. Grades are more a reflection of work ethic than anything.
