how bad will the SEC defenses shut them down next season?
hard to say. If you're serious about this i'll say that i expect auburn to throw a lot more next year making the offense different from this year.
But since you said 'how bad' not 'will' i think you'd just prefer i say we'll score 0 points in every game.

Auburn will be solid this year with yet another look on offense.
They probably will be the #1 team in the nation when they roll that donkey cart called the Gus wagon into Sanford Stadium next fall.
Be #2 when they leave....Come in #1, leave #2<

I think it'll be CAP but much like we rotated early on this season i think you'll see barber, grant and possibly even roc pretty often.

Due to not enrolling at Auburn until August, Marshall was pretty much one dimensional most of the year. Gus did wonders with those limitations. Now that Nick will go thru Spring and Fall under Gus's guidance, I doubt that the Offense will look much the same as it did in 2013. I expect NM to be a much better passer and AU to have more outside weopons.
I left off the fact that if you took away Mason's rushing yards (1800) from AUs Offense, they still would have been the 21st Rushing Offense in Division I last year.

Guys, this troll attempt was intended for everyone who said the rest of the SEC would shut down aTm and Manziel after an offseason of film. Now quit biting.

yea but it's almost a discussion. Which is a huge improvement from most threads so why not make the best out of the situation?
hell, even barabritos is under control.

Gus' personal Super Bowl week 1.
We shall see if he used up all his miracles last season.

A&M layed the blueprint that a new offense will sustain success.

SEC lost a lot of the best defensive players to the NFL in last 2 years.

He probably did, for a lifetime.
That won't have any bearing on the arky game though.

I do not want them to get their hopes up. That is what causes Updyke to be a tree surgeon.

I respect your troll attempt, but it's not a static thing. There will be significant changes to the offense most likely, in accordance with where are playmakers are on the field.

I'm not so sure. Any offense depends on superior execution within a system. Auburn's offense is not unlike WVU's very successful spread-option offense run by Pat White back in the day. If you have the right QB, RB's and a superior/athletic OL, a read/option offense is very hard to stop even for the best defenses. Most college teams don't have the defensive talent to stop it. These offenses aren't prevalent in the NFL because the best college defensive talent is concentrated on pro teams. It's much harder to block in space against a very athletic defensive player than it is when the LOS is in a tight wall.
I would love to see Georgia run an offense with a good dual-threat QB like we had with Shockley back in the day.

So why couldn't the greatest Defensive mind in football take it away ? He had plenty of time to scheme for him, yet he made them look foolish.
