There's the problem, WDE24.

Their D was stacked with players recruited by SEC teams.

Yeah, don't let those pesky numbers (facts) get in the way of a good delusion!

Auburn had 5.78 yards per play against Alabama and 5.61 yards per play against FSU. Factually and subjectively FSU had a better defense than Alabama. Deal with it.

Let's see now.... "bama's DB's were very suspect"-and Auburn had 97 yards passing for the game.

....and Auburn was known for it's passing game. How many yards did Oklahoma have through the air against bama? How about A&M? You know, teams that threw the ball.

quote:

"Auburn ran it down their throats all night long."-Auburn averaged 5.7 yds. per rush and Alabama averaged 6.2 yrds.

Auburn ran the ball for THREE HUNDRED YARDS on bama.

Your melt is delicious. This is going into the fourth month of it. Time to let it go.

So if Alabama averaged 1/2 a yard per rushing play more than Auburn, and had over 100 yards more offense than Auburn, then how would you describe Alabama's offensive performance against Auburn?

Alabama ran the ball well, but they lost the game. Congrats. What about that Alabama vs. FSU defense again?

Nobody is saying Auburn's D was stellar. Our D had holes. Your D had holes. FSU's D was the best all-around D in the nation.

Again, I disagree. I didn't even mention Stanford or Michigan St., which is an entirely new discussion. Finally, I don't see how y'all can claim a team playing out of the ACC has the nations best defense when they don't see the best teams on a regular basis, and their 12+ points per game allowed in their league ain't so great.

So are going to stop running your cocksucker about Alabama's defense being better than FSU's? If you'd do a little more fact checking, you wouldn't look like such a fricking moron.

Weren't you the dumbass that was bitching because we were discussing bama's D vs FSUs. Since you want to talk about Bama's O, just remember they scored 1 TD in the last 2 1/2 quarters against an average AU defense. That one TD came on a 99 yard pass.

Uhhhh...as far as I can tell, Alabama's defense is better than FSU. Auburn's 449 yards against FSU was more than the 393 they had against Alabama, AND Auburn played at home to Alabama.

You're really not this stupid, are you? Can't you see what the relationship my question had to the conversation about Auburn "dominating" Alabama?....I guess you can't.

Guess you missed my yards per play post on this page. Reading is hard.

Last year's FSU D being so dominant makes me wonder if Saban is going continue to struggle without Pruitt.

We can end all this great Bama D talk now. Their secondary sucked and AUs OL and running game exposed their DL. Mosley was their best player and he was confused against AU at times. AU left a lot of passing yards on the field during the IB. Oklahoma saw what Auburn did to the Bama D and further exposed it. End of debate.

Not worth debating with him. He's shown that he can't follow a thread.

All of this. Mosley was basically a non factor.

You mean the same Dline that got 4 straight sacks to end the game against LSU? Ask Mett how exposed he feels they are.
