And you lose points for losing to a Big 6.

Not Big 6.

Take one fricking guess (HINT: probably the year when there was a 10-game SEC schedule).

You are trying to rewrite history to compare that shite burger last year to last year?

Keep getting bent.

2021 Alabama
@ Florida (W)
Tennessee (W)
LSU (W)
@ Auburn (W)
vs Georgia (N) (W)
vs Georgia (N) (L)

We lost to Georgia in the rematch, but we won a game against each of the other big 6 that year.

But a Big 6 member couldn't have 6 wins against Big 6 teams, obviously. Not sure when the last time a non-big 6 member did that. I'm guessing not in modern times, but it's possible one did and then lost 2-3 games to non-big 6 teams.

Just stating facts here.

Is 6 a larger number than 5?

2021 Alabama : 5-1

2004 Auburn : 4-0 (technically 5 wins since they beat Tennessee 2x)

1993 Auburn : 4-0

1992 Alabama : 4-0

Pretty sure some of those Florida teams did. Tennessee in 1998. A bunch.

You can't really play yourself, pal. So, when you aren't in the B6 it makes it possible.

You were talking about top 10 wins for LSU in 2019

OSU 2024 has more than 2019 LSU

End of year rankings are what actually matter, or else OSU has wins over #1 right now

Granted LSU wasn’t a particularly tough out that year nor was Bama.

It’s likely a Big 6 that has the most wins in a season against the other Big 6, but it’s also going to be pretty rare when a Big 6 team had all of the other 5 on its schedule in a season.

Until 1992, Auburn had for decades played Ala, UTn, UF and UGA every year, but rarely played LSU (they played 8 games between the end is WW2 and SEC expansion in ‘92). Off the top of my head, AU beat those 4 in 1983. They lost UT as a permanent opponent in ‘92, and then lost UF as a permanent opponent a few years later. They did beat LSU, UF, UGA and Ala in 93, but didn’t play UT. AU beat LSU, UT (2X), UGA, and Ala in ‘04, but didn’t play UF. When AU went undefeated and won the natty in ‘10, they beat LSU, UGA and Ala, but didn’t play UT or UF (of all things, SoCar won the east that year, and Auburn beat them 2X that season).

Even MORE impressive

And what were those margins of victory again?

Bent. Get it.

Did we play SEC football before the 21st century?

Some of y'all acting like four wins against the Big 6 is some historic accomplishment. I guess that's understandable, because for you, it is.

It's not that big of a deal to us, because we've done it so often.

1971: Florida LSU, Tennessee, Auburn
1977: Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn.
1978: Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn
1979: Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn
1992: Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Florida

I'm sure there are more.

Confused by you saying all by a margin of 3 touchdowns. I'm seeing 3 of those games were by a margin of 8 or less.

2019 LSU probably.

"Big 6" is opinion.

Won more top 10 games than anyone ever.

Go to the last 5 games of the season.

You're getting warmer, little buddy.

We were solid in 1996 - 10-3, finished #11, beat Michigan in a Bowl. Things went downhill shortly after, though.

Not a whole lot of periods where the entire Big 6 was good in the post-1992 SEC. Probably the closest is the early/mid 2000s - 5 of the 6 were good most every year, Alabama was up and down.
