Sure, I will be! Some say no due to recruiting but I think overall conference perception helps that as well on the flip side. Brings more talent into the mix for the SEC as a whole. Also perception of the SEC being a strong conference can maybe sway a close call to get into the playoffs.

We ALL play in the strongest and best conference in America. There is huge prestige in that fact. Especially this year with NO OCC games to gauge by, all SEC teams need to help carry the banner for the conference.

And I hope Clemson beats the crap out of Bama

I will pull for every SEC team, if only because I'm tired of hearing that the SEC is "down" this year. Sure it is

All except Bama. A true LSU fan never pulls for Bama.

I do, but if a team loses ill definitely let them know how much they suck on this board.

The time period you speak of Big Al played the big games at Legion Field. Big Al was forced to expand BDS when Aubie told Big Al to stick it and moved the game. Until then BDS was a dump and Fat Al played the small teams there. Congrats on someone giving you free tickets to the cheap games!

From one ole man to another... agreed 100%. Personally, I pull for all of us although these guys from College Station are making it hard to do such.

The stadium capacity in Tuscaloosa was intentionally kept well below that of Legion Field in B'ham. to keep B'ham as the logical spot for big games. When Coach Bryant died, along with the Ala/Aub contract to play in B'ham ending in '88(?), the Tuscaloosa folks were able to step in, enlarge Bryant-Denny to around 70,000(close to Legion field's size), AND start to host ALL of Alabama's home games.

Obviously it was a huge boom for the Tuscaloosa economy and the campus itself.

I agree with this line of thinking. I said the same thing when LSU whipped OU in the Peach Bowl last year. LSU fans next to me were asking why I didn't join in the "S-E-C! S-E-C!" chant when it broke out. I said, "Because frick the SEC, this is about LSU."
