Maybe LSU will look to fire him for cause and give him nothing. I agree he is done, regardless, but now it's about paying out the least possible amount. He seems to have clearly lied, so there is that.

With Alleva as AD, it means this will drag on for weeks and draw all kinds of negative attention to LSU a la the Jimbo Fisher/Les Miles coaching hire/fire fiasco.
I do think that Wade is very likely to be fired now. Just a matter of when. Alleva is super pissed that Wade didn't tell him everything. What remains to be seen is all the politics from the board, school president, hell maybe we can get the governor involved (see above re: Fisher/Miles fiasco).

Alleva was at Duke with the Lacrosse disaster when he fired the HC. He will wait before he pulls the trigger this time. His career couldn't handle another frick up.

LSU is not going to wait for the NCAA to conclude their investigation. It’ll take the NCAA a couple of years to decide on this given the depth of the investigation. LSU isn’t going to go 2 years without a head coach. Plus they’re doing this now to beg for mercy from the NCAA later by being “proactive.” Wouldn’t surprise me if LSU sits out the NCAA too for the same reason.
Wade is done folks. Time to move forward to the coaching change board. Maybe you LSU fans will start listening to me.

Wade better tell the powers that be in Red Stick to pay up his entire buyout or he will tell the ncaa investigators enough information to do significant damage. If I’m Wade I tell them “pay up and I’ll shut up”.
