Hasn't both LSU and UF had to cancel games somewhat regularly due to weather? The cancellation in question was convenient (no doubt there) but LSU still let UF beat them at home that year.

That plan is working well for them.
So back to my original question....will they do it again with Mullen as their HC?

No? Starting in 2005 it becomes pretty regular for LSU to have weather issues. The first and last games listed cancel one another out (one LSU had to cancel/move while UF had to cancel the other and the SC move wasn't LSU's fault but again weather has affected a lot of LSU games). I didn't look UF's record on this up but it's been fairly common the past couple of years for them to have to cancel games.
LSU Weather Problems:
Dec. 5, 1964 vs. Florida: Moved from Oct. 3 to Dec. 5 in Baton Rouge because of Hurricane Hilda. Florida won 20-6.
Sept. 10, 2005 vs. Arizona State: Moved from Baton Rouge to Tempe, Ariz., because of Hurricane Katrina. LSU won 35-31.
Sept. 26, 2005 vs. Tennessee: Moved from Saturday to Monday because of Hurricane Rita. LSU lost 30-27 in overtime.
Oct. 29, 2005 vs. North Texas: Moved from Sept. 3 because of Hurricane Katrina. LSU won 24-0.
Aug. 30, 2008 vs. Appalachian State: Moved from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m. CT because of Hurricane Gustav. LSU won 41-13.
Nov. 15, 2008 vs. Troy: Moved from Sept. 6 to a common open date because of Hurricane Gustav. LSU won 40-31.
Sept. 5, 2015 vs. McNeese: Canceled due to nearly 4-hour lightning delay. Score was 0-0, game was just four minutes old.
Oct. 10, 2015 vs. South Carolina: Moved from Columbia, S.C., to Baton Rouge because of flooding. LSU won 45-24
Oct. 8, 2016 at Florida: Moved from Oct. 8 to Nov. 19 to Baton Rouge because of Hurricane Matthew. LSU lost 16-10.
---------------------
Florida has cancelled 3 games in the last 4 years due to weather. None of that is surprising since both schools play football while being located in areas where severe weather/rain and hurricanes are common during the season which happens to coincide with part of hurricane season.

So you really are comparing Hurricanes Hilda and Katrina to a rain event that every other Florida team managed to play?
Take note of the Katrina games you listed.
Played the same weekends ....LSU played at Arizona State on the road!
LSU played at Tennessee on Monday night!
South Carolina moved their game to Baton Rouge the same scheduled weekend.
Ask South Carolina fans how we treated their program.
So the answer is no.
Florida backed out of an SEC football game when they didn’t have to.

I said none of that. In fact, I said the UF cancellation was convenient in my first post. However, weather cancellations aren't uncommon for either school. It's a function of where the schools are located and when football is played. Hurricane season and severe rains don't care about the precious few Saturdays of football we're allocated in the fall.

UF and LSU has something in common. Both will lose to State

LSU didn’t cancel games...went out of their way to play the games the same weekend.
Moved a home game to a road game Arizona.
Moved a Saturday game to Monday Tennessee.
And those were Hurricane Katrina games.
Don’t even try to compare.

You're reading in what you want to read in. I'm not defending UF at all but being forced to cancel or postpone (since you're stuck on semantics) isn't that surprising given where both schools are located. It happens. Did UF take advantage of it? Yes. I'm not sure what else you want me to say - I'd already said they had.

No, we won't. You're not winning shite with Mullen. We'll get rid of Orgeron soon enough, and we'll beat you with the next coach.

The ONLY reason they're still mad is because they talked all this shite about supposedly beating us by 30 points and ended up losing. You'd think getting revenge and winning last year would've cured that but I guess not.

Man, it's surreal to see LSU fans try to talk coach smack

Will LSU bitch out of a game with Florida now that they have Mullen?

I was a teen when UF vs LSU 1964 game was cancelled by LSU smart arse and we beat you in red stick 20-6....your RB, Joe LaBruzzo muffed a punt and that led to a Gator TD.
In 2016 LSU called us pussies and everything else and we went to redstick and made you eat shite. The morale of the story? Don't write checks with your mouth that your arse cant cash.

Damn gramps, my dad was born in 64
I'm with you though old man. Its fricking weird to me how the LSU fans flipped the script in 2016 and have been trying to claim UF backed out when it was clearly LSU being the huge gaping pussy in that situation.

Honestly, we were the only ones who should've gotten THAT mad about this game being postponed. I think UF and Mac took advantage *but* LSU also didn't have anything on the line that season. We did but then we went ahead and fricked up the rest of our season and lost any right to complain about it.
