Will the west have all 7 teams bowl eligible for the 3rd straight year?

Bama and LSU are locks
OM probably is record wise. Only question there is can they avoid a postseason ban for the next 5 months.
Arkansas and A&M are far from locks, but I would think both are fairly safe bets barring a massive implosion.
IMO Auburn and Mississippi State are the biggest question marks.
Auburn is still not set on a QB and just lost one of their best players, their starting RB. Their schedule does them no favors either. They face Clemson week 1 and the rest of the West plus the annual game with Georgia. They fortunately draw Vandy in their rotating East game, but that's no lock either with their stingy defense.
MSU is breaking in a new QB as well following the Dak era, and returns some firepower at WR, but defense should be a relative unknown. Their OOC schedule isn't too bad, with the toughest game being @BYU, but they of course have the entire West to go through in addition to a couple winnable East games vs UK and USCe.
IMO they don't all manage to get in this year, with the loser of Auburn/MSU staying home for the holidays. Potentially OM due to sanctions as well.

No. Auburn gonna Auburn.

OM will struggle to rebound after a 1-3 start. 5-7 most likely and miss a bowl.

I think if Mississippi State can pull off a win @ BYU they are all bowl eligible (again, assuming no ban for Ole Miss).

The question isn't whether Ole Miss will be bowl eligible.
The question is will Ole Miss be the top seed in the College Football Playoff or the #2.

well auburn has 5 definite, for sure losses. They have 3 for sure wins.
That means they have to go 3-1 in the toss up games. Could be a tall order.

First win 10 regular season games once EVER or win the west once EVER.
You are still ole miss bitch

I think auburn is going to be the biggest question mark, then state, then if ole miss gets the ban hammer.
the other teams are safe bets

So they would be close to locks?

Whats 34-3?
It's the total number of points Ole Miss scored greater than Tennessee in our last meeting.
Good day sir. This is the year you finally beat Bama! I can feel it.

Not trying ot get real involved here, but I don't see anything wrong with what he said.
I can say it's a fairly safe bet UGA beats missouri on teh road this year but I also wouldn't call it "close to a lock" either.

It's funny, no one here even has to do anything to rustle you. You self rustle!

I say 6 is most likely with a shot at 5. Been a good run though.

Yeah, I was thinking 80-90% probability for each one to make a bowl. I'd call that a safe bet but not quite in "lock" range.

Just curious.. Why do you think MSU won't win 6 games?

I dont think they will if they dont beat BYU. Although MSU drew an easy East schedule, still not sure they beat USCe.
Even if they beat both East teams, they may not win a West game and finish 5-7 (with the loss to BYU).
