We can't have East Champs losing 5 games each year..

The West coaching staffs look a little more stable...The 3 major programs in the east will probably all have new coaches in the next 5 years

Of course they'll step up again. Florida, Tennessee and Georgia are just too good of programs to keep up the mediocrity. And it's only been one season for Florida.

The East will be dominant again, if you think otherwise you're not paying attention to the past.

They'll get back to being strong at the top, but not dominant in the near future

Yes, historically the top 3 in the East are stronger than the top 3 in the west. The other 6 teams do not matter anyway.

scary thing is, Auburn and Tennessee where in about the same position going from 2007 to 2008.

We just rebounded and they fell apart.

Not really.

And did you mean going from 2008 to 2009?

I think Georgia will have to endure a coaching change before they can get to that level. I'm not high on Muschamp, but they could get off to a good start because they have talent and the East sucks this year.

How fast Tennessee rebounds depends on what happens in August/Sept with the NCAA ruling.

UGA has had some decent recruiting classes, especially last year. Richt has had them in the hunt before.

I agree with your UF opinion.

I agree. I guess I didn't word my post the way I wanted to. I don't think Richt is the guy to win big at this point, but like with Florida, they do have the opportunity with the conference struggling a bit. If Richt can't do it, I think the new guy should be able to win relatively quickly.

I think it has more to do with Dooley. I don't think the NCAA issues will be that big of a blow.

No, never. The east should just stop playing football now.

What a stupid question
