Will TAMU still play UT next year in OOC?

Surely they have to work out a way to still play this game.
But I can see UT just being too butthurt to do it and blame TAMU for being selfish and leaving the Big 12/9
Any idea of this yet?

It will likely go the way of the Iron Bowl and become state law. I think it continues to be played but that would also mean Texas would have to swallow some pride to set it up...and they would rather choke on their own blood.

Pretty sure he meant Texas.

A&M has made their position clear that they want to play it. It may depend on how conference realignment plays out for the Big 12 if Texas will be able to play the game right away. Either way if it's not continued immediately it will be in the near future the important of that game to Texas families is huge.

About 25 million in the State of Texas disagree with you.
FUTEXAS is scared and too "proud."

If it was so huge for "Texas Families", maybe the Aggies should have thought of that before joing the SEC.No way Texas plays that game IMO.Be careful what you wish for.

Texas will not agree to play A&M after this. Texas is the flagship in that state and always will be while A&M is the little brother.
Texas' rivalry is Oklahoma. A&M always tried to make the game a big rival but Texas has always treated them as their bitch and for good reason.
A&M will be another MSU in the SEC.

There's only one reason the game will not continue:

Tuck Fexas. They're irrelevant right now.

They will probably squeak past Iowa State today.

Already happening. It's not like there are teams in the SEC like FLORIDA, GEORGIA, and CLEMSON that play rivals non-conference in late November or even SEC teams like KENTUCKY that do the same. Surely that doesn't happen.
Expect the sips to blame it on "travel expenses" like they did when they backed out of playing Hawai'i.
