That remains to be seen but one things for sure people are sure as hell drawing a lot of conclusions out of the cocks losing at neyland stadium. I could have seen that one coming shite two yrs ago we went there and won by less than a td. All i'm saying is don't look all crazy if usc comes out and plays like we did against arkansas.

It seems to me that a bigger concern than their loss is whether Dylan will be ready to lead the Cocks. He's a good quarterback, but you gotta think there's going to be a drop-off from Shaw. Missouri lost Franklin, of course, but Franklin was so inconsistent that it might even have been a good thing. It's not entirely clear that Dylan, despite his upside, will be better than Shaw.

I think traditional is a qualifier that would require several years of winning seasons with bowl appearances. Right now Mizzou is having a far better season than last year. But it can only be done one game at a time.

Respect all, fear none.

South Carolina pretty much sucked for all eternity before Spurrier arrived.

There are still plenty of people who only grudgingly -- if at all -- consider Florida a "traditional power," so, yeah, it's gonna take time and victories and more time before Missouri occupies a spot like that in most peoples' minds.

Maybe the football gods are helping to compensate for the bad luck of having a crippled Mizzou team to start the season last year.

SC isn't a traditional power. That said, y'all did help us get rid of Dooley so we owe you one, or two, or maybe even three.

And before anyone starts... That was a joke. We're not celebrating or purposely injuring players in some evil conspiracy.

Traditional East Power?

Oh dear. Yoobs (Yankee noobs).

You guys should laugh it up. It all comes back in spades.

If I had an offense that looked as totally inept as the one the Gators brought to Farout last weekend, I'd lighten up on the proclamations of doom. Most (if not all) of our soft OOC's had better.

Seriously, how did you win any SEC games with that mess?

Somebody's head needs to be on the end a pointy stake...

USCe has had a good run lately, but traditional powers are Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

I think South Carolina will become a traditional power in time, but until they win a SEC title and back it up with 1 more they are not big 6 material.

So how much losing does it take to have Big Six status removed?

Tennessee's done plenty since running off Phil Fulmer...

Traditional power and SEC: Mizzou and aTm have a very long way to go. You have to win the SEC multiple times over many years and add in a NC or 3.

SC isn't even close to getting traditional power status and they've been good for 4 years or so. It takes a generation for a tradition to set in completely.

Patience, you may get there and the ride will be fun along the way.

also the traditional east powers are UT and
GA. Everything that's happened at florida has been in the last 20yrs. Or what is referred to as the
Steve Spurrier Era.
