So from now on, it should be CAM and Patrick... Plus the NCAA is still looking into the entire Lyles issue.... So who knows...

Cam brings on himself and PP/LSU have nothing to worry about. PP/LSU will take the newton route and PP will claim he didn't know anything about it at all..... and frankly, PP's claim is more believable than Cams.

Let's face it, Miles is not that bright and I have always been amazed that he has been able to recruit like he has in view of his communication skills...or lack thereof
I don't think you know the difference between public speaking in front of the press and personal communication skills. They are very different and coach Miles is not lacking in personal communication skills. He is a very down to earth and sincere person with recruits and parents. You should go back and watch the video of Rasco's recruitment that was posted a while back.

Damn Doc, what made you jump off that cliff so fast?

Several things. First and foremost, I try to look at things as objectively as I possibly can. If this were a Bama or Auburn player and the exact same allegations came out, I would at least assume a presumption of guilt knowing how this deal works in real life.

Secondly, LSU is directly tied to Lyles and he is a bad seed. This is not their first link to the fella.

Third, no one has been able to explain to me why LSU would pay these recruiting services tens of thousands of dollars when the same info can be received for a rivals and scout subscription and a few phone calls to the coaches of players.

I am about 65% convinced that LSU was funneling money to these street agents for players. Where the players receiving money? I am less certain about that aspect of it. Did LSU know they were paying for players to be persuaded? I feel more certain about that aspect of it.

Edit: One other thing...I am sure PP7 has a twitter account...he could have easily sent a message that he never received improper benefits while at LSU as I guarantee he knows about this article by now. His silence on the matter is deafening.

You want to continously blame the bammers for not letting y'all "move on". But, just when things start to simmer down on the Plains, and it looks like the waters have calmed down, then BAM! the Apple Dumpling Gang fricking commits armed robbery.

Then when that shite settles a little and becomes old news, BAM! the HBO Fab Four spill the beans on your program/coaches/boosters, etc.

Auburn "men" bring this shite on yourselves, not the bammers.

You don't know jack shite for a "fact" about anything in that case, brah.

Uh, He openly admitted it, and said that Cam knew nothing about it. Google is your friend. NCAA even said this is a fact in their investigation.

It's amusing how desperate Auburn fans are to spread their misery around the conference. Deflect & project is what the defense attorneys call it, and it's a sure-fire sign that conviction is imminent.

I think the next two to three years are going to be landscape altering for college football, especially in the SEC. I would not be surprised at all to see Auburn, LSU, UT and maybe one or two other schools find themselves on major probation...perhaps as bad as USC...maybe worse.

it can't. The precedent has been set for anything prior to 2010. any allegation of someone requesting money on behalf of a player but the player didn't know, is not a violation prior to 2010.

as to the players claiming to have received money, they are Au players with questionable backgrounds. I think Chaz ramsey and his father have enough public baggage for anyone to understand their cred/character is questionable at best. (that go's for Au too, not just lsu). The other three have their issues as well.

NO, it makes sense that Lyles was a rep for TAMU (not PP). How is this difficult to understand?

So a TAMU representative was demanding money from TAMU to sign a recruit that TAMU was recruiting?

You can't make quality deflection like this shite up!

I agree with that, unless there is a money trail from a school to that person.

After those "AU fambly members" spewed that shite for the whole nation to see last night, y'all got a freaking inferno you need to worry about.

AU's smoke cleared out last night, now we are all looking at the hot blue flames on the plains.

Until the day comes that you, I, and anybody else sees an actual REPORT of the investigation, all we've seen thus far in the media is "sources say".

Which, like I said, means we don't know jack shite for a FACT.

It may turn out to be *exactly* what "sources say" in the final report. But thus far we don't know anything for a FACT and, if you think you do, you're just delusional.

(Oh, and I wasn't able to find anything where Cecil Newton "openly admitted" anything. You got a link?)

Are you insinuating that those former AU players on HBO have baggage/credibility issues/character issues, and therefore can't be trusted with what they admitted on HBO?

The public should just wave those AU fella's off as 'cause they all have issues with AU. Yet, we should believe what the godly Newton family have to say about Cam and P4P?

There's another former AU player who has baggage/credibility issues/character issues that you Aubs expect us to believe told the truth though... Who should the public believe? The FabFour or the Newton's?

Earlier, LSU officials confirmed the school paid $6,000 to Complete Scouting Services, a college recruiting firm that Lyles started early last year. An LSU spokesman said the school did receive a DVD from Lyles in exchange for the $6,000.

Lotta change for a DVD......
