Here is what it is about. Judges are Lawyers. They make decisions that help the law profession. So each criminal gets a case tried. There is a lawyer repping the criminal and one prosecuting the criminal. The profession will make billions off of this decision. Conflict of interest is pretty evident.
Politicians are lawyers, they make decisions that protect/ benefit their profession. Their decisions continue to give judges and law more power.
Follow the money.

Absolutely!
I helped run a local judge campaign before. There were paid people to monitor this message board and dispute any positive discussion about the other candidate that may have been generated here.
If it’s done for a local judge race in Prairieville , it’s done at a larger scale for national issues.

re: Can Those Of You Who Advocate Tariffs...

Think anaconda.
The tariff will strangle the competition until they give up.
They ultimate goal is for them to say no more tariff’s and in kind we say no more tariff. Free trade boom.
Second goal, the companies move here creating jobs. Making up an even stronger economic power.
Will there be pain? no fight is without pain. However, we should win because we are bigger and more powerful.

Imagine supporting another country over your own? I think Brittany Griner found out America isn’t so bad. Maybe these people need to find that out as well.
Most know nothing about Ukraine or Z, they just don’t like Trump. Because they don’t like him, they are ok with the money being waisted and others dyeing as a result of war.
Imagine what type of person stands for that?
re: Greg Brooks Jr's attorney reacts to BK rebuttal:

It’s a play on words. He didn’t talk to “Greg brooks jr”. Greg may not have been able to talk after the surgery. However, BK could have been there and talking to the family. It’s what lawyers do.

By all means we should hire by likability. Your entire post is contradictory. Most people find McMahon likable.
Who you like may not be likable to another. The criteria is no longer success, resume, accomplishments, it’s if Dorito likes the person. Jeeze, can’t make this up.

Except Ohio State wouldn’t even have made the field if it were only 8 teams
It’s why you need strength of schedule. Indiana, Boise,SMU, and Clemson were not top 4,5,6,7, or 8 teams. Bring back the bcs formula. It was accurate in figuring out the two best teams. USC was the only complainer. The problem was it was only two teams. Not that those three weren’t good. It can figure 8 or 12.

OSU took their foot off the gas WAAAYYY too early. Stopped doing what worked for them, let ND come back, and lost all momentum. I'll
He went into a soft coverage defense with only rushing four mostly and sometimes 3 too.

Could be worse, could be Texas and spend 20 mil and not win it.

Seems like OSU is mostly recruited talent, with a few holes plugged with transfers. That model is probably much better for college football than the wholesale purchasing of a roster,
They still bought those recruits as well. However, I agree that model is better than a new roster every year.

1) you need a 20 million dollar bank roll to buy championship caliber roster. Even Ryan day couldn’t mess it up. He tried but talent prevailed. (He coaches like Les miles imo. Very conservative with a lead. Plays not to lose vs to win)
2) N.D. Is who they have always been. Good, not great. The rest of college football took a step backward and ND still a double digit loser.

Sometimes that kind of stuff follows you. Hard lesson to learn.
I think lsu thought they were keeping Taylor, Nuss, Daniels, and Jones.

Tells me that we are not paying the amount money other programs do to bring back their top talent.
Campbell had to go. He was sure fire first round. The others are probably day two guys.
