What would you rather?

Underwood or Michigan’s oline?
That would give a head start to the players learning the new system. The bowl means a lot for Kiffin to evaluate the roster. I would use it to implement the system for next year.

It would give you three separate opportunities to transition your system to next year. The bowl, the spring, and fall. True enough you don’t have your qb. However, whatever oline, wr’s, te, rbs etc you keep, they would have a head start

And Kelly got fired because he didn’t give a shite about his job.

This part can be true too. However, he left it to these guys and they failed him. Had they been studs at what they do, Kelly still has a job and praised for hiring great assistants. LSU would be winning.
Davis, Wilson, Hankton, even Sloan
, had Louisiana ties. How’s our offense? What players on offense, save green, are sure fire nfl/all sec caliber?

Raymond is different, his presence has improved the D.

It’s not that I don’t like these guys or thankful for what they did. At the end of the day, they got their opportunity and failed.

Ole Miss had a better oline, qb, wr’s, rbs, than us. Maybe those guys are better at talent evaluation and development.
[quote]don’t see how you do that without Frank

I really don’t understand this. Frank has been here for four years. He let Stuart go to USC. The offensive side of the ball is talent deficient. Our wr’s are smurfs, no big rb , offensive line is horrible.

Ole Miss has had better wr’s, rbs, and oline the last two years.

How many starters were from Louisiana? Not many.

Kelly did this and regretted it quickly. Frank puts a blanket on New Orleans recruiting.

Did he? How’s the offensive talent on the lsu roster? How many starters are from Louisiana?

What about the Stewart kid that when to USC?

Kelly got fired and had frank for four years. How big of difference did he make?
Just a little offense and we win against ole Miss, Vandy and OU.

We aren’t far away and not in as bad of shape from when O left.
Just about every camera shot is lane cheering by himself. Rarely is someone near him or a dialog.
Ole Miss has played TWO currently ranked teams this year.

ND has played Three.

I didn’t check Texas Tech or BYU, etc. I’m sure it’s the same way.

LSU is about to play its FIFTH.

I think this is a part of the struggle. Just last year Ole Miss lost three games with their most talented team.

They lost to the only two ranked opponents they played in 2022.

2021 they lost five games.

It looks like the easier your schedule the more perceived success you have.

If we only played two ranked teams this year, we may be in the playoff hunt and the coach may not be fired. Maybe we don’t have so many injuries. Not defending BK. I just think who you play no longer matters.
I think it’s very possible sexton has made each school think he’s signing with them on sat to give them the most leverage. If anyone moves on, less leverage.

well.... if that happened then it would definitely be a work of art...

I see what you did there!

The Mona Lisa is Kiffin is leaving.

To Bama. Deboer is heading to Penn State. He knows two potentially 3 loses a year will have him fired next year. Getting out while he can.

You are on to something. Quality coach for a reasonable price. Great value!
Saban fired him for being Joey Freshwater with bama students. Google Joey Freshwater. It’s why he and Layla split.

Agreed, Kiffin is no different. He has a looong history of not being successful. You can argue he is a flash in the pan this year. He certainly did less with more last year.

Cignetti doesn’t feel that way towards Indiana.

It’s a different era my friend.

The thing about Lane.

He’s showing you he is whose he’s always been. It’s why he has a poor reputation.

Ole Miss has giving him everything he wants. Treated him like a king. He has plenty of money, he has resources, and he’s winning. He still going to dick them around.

It will be no different with whomever.

More stable. We have better administrators. Better city/community. Twice the endowment and better school.

This part is accurate. However, there is an 800lbs gorilla right down the road that makes Auburn not a better job. It’s the reason AU has had a brief history of success in football. You are always second in the state much less the conference.

Is it a great town, clean, great community, financially secure? Absolutely. I’d send my kids there in a heart beat.

However, if I’m a coach, I’m going where there is fruitful recruiting grounds and less competition for that talent. The pay will be equal. It should make me more successful if I do my job well. I would have longer tenure and more opportunities.

At AU, you have to beat bama consistently or you are fired. There was some success under dye and tubs, however, It’s been a revolving door since Saban got there and it doesn’t look like it’s changing any time soon.

LSU isn’t going to file any answer with any sort of dirt. They screwed up with the process. Their best bet is to get a number that will make Kelly go away asap.

Did James Craig or les miles win their lawsuits? Kelly has to try the case in Louisiana. Won’t see trial for two years and likely won’t have a favorable judge or jury.

doesn’t matter what Kelly’s attorney believes or doesn’t believe. He’s bound to represent his client and get him the most advantageous deal he can.

He sees 18 mil. If you hire him on a flat fee for 7,500. See how bound he is for the best deal on behalf of his client. Probably wont even answer the phone.
You have to remember, this is one sided information. When lsu files their answer, there will be another story.

You all are doing exactly what Kelly’s attorney wants, create outrage in public opinion to get the most for his client.

I think we saw this recently where one attorney posted a video of a car. Outrage pursued, then a second video emerged and just about everyone STFU.
