Just find me a single thread where we had to talk about a head coach shoving a player. You can’t. Because it doesn’t happen

Kirby was out of control. That isn’t normal. That’s just a fact and shouldn’t be debated

Yes, intentionally. Glad you admit that

And being so out of control you shove anything in front of you doesn’t make it better

You are a head fricking coach, control yourself

What's the big deal about shoving someone out of the way when you are on a clock in critical game time situations?

How has every head coach for eternity managed to coach late game situations without shoving other players? You make it sound like that’s not possible

had more skins on the wall than Kirby, and fewer transgressions. I am referring to the problems with Georgia players getting into trouble, car accidents, etc. The buck stops with Kirby.

That incident destroyed Hayes’ career. (OSU)

In a time were you accepted coach hitting players

Shocking this isn't blowing up more.

What if the MSU player returned fire?

SEC needs to step in

No problem.

I literally once watched Saban slap AJ McCarron on the arse in anger after he cussed him out for about 20 seconds.

Somehow, AJ was able to keep living his life without counseling after the incident.

My former HC use to paddle me almost daily in highschool. I also somehow lived.

Because they hire people to make sure everyone is off the sidelines and thus not getting in the way to start with.

Your comparable analogies have been awful

While OSU coach Woody Hayes had punched a reporter, started a physical fight with Iowa’s AD, shoved a camera into the face of a photographer, charged an ABC cameraman, punched the OSU alumni club president in the stomach, made public comments saying innocent people in a massacre deserved to die (women and children), tore up the sideline during a Michigan game…all this before throat punching a Clemson player.

Why? Are you a person that is always a victim?

As discussed many times. It should have been a flag, regardless of intent. He should be fined, regardless of intent. The end.

So it would have only been an issue if he shoved AJ instead of slapping him.

Come on guy, put some big boy pants on.

He is a coach and representative of UGA and the SEC and the behavior is not acceptable

You played. Most of these crybabies never did, and so they've got an inferiority complex

I've got a guy at work, he's a huge sports fan and loves to talk about the new topics of the week in football, basketball and baseball. But he never played one sport his entire life, he didn't even fricking play peewee, or buddy league baseball. Nothing.

So when he gets corrected on something in regard to any sport, his face gets scrunchy and full of anger because he doesn't want to admit he's wrong. It's full on inferiority complex.

So all you tough guys, shouldn’t the state player have punched Kirby? I mean you can’t let someone blind side shove you like that right?

Seems like the guy you replied to agrees, hence him saying a flag should’ve been thrown and a fine imposed.

Fine makes sense at minimum

It wasn't some career ending push but it was unacceptable

It didn't affect him. You saw the video. He walked away and didn't give a shite.

Hmm, I wonder why...

The point is that he needs to calm the frick down and control himself. You can’t hold players accountable for shitty behavior if you’re not held accountable for your own shitty behavior.

This.

“I was real mad and I was gonna go scream at someone and can’t help someone got in the way!!”

I don’t believe Smart was going after the player at all but regardless….you’re the frickin HC.

Slow your roll, if something’s in your way, pause and then go scream at whoever.

Show some self-control. Not that hard. People (including lots of HCs) manage to do it every day.
