I agree with what Coach McElwain said. Trusting someone in the day and age we live in is probably the hardest thing to do. When that trust is broken, even if it was honestly an accident, it's even harder to recover. And you can't let one man damage the rep for your whole team, no matter how good he is.

Meh, shite happens. He did this to himself not any coach or other person. He made the decision to take enhancement drugs.

I don't have a problem with Mac on this at all.

I'm thinking the NCAA tested for -androl and found cocaine as he was living with a coke head.

Is that scenario possible?

I see absolutely nothing wrong with how McElwain handled the situation, other than if he actually made the dude wait for two hours for the hell of it. But that's minor, really.

The guy didn't deserve any guarantees. This all sounds like sour grapes from Grier, to be honest.

After I came back, my dad and I had a meeting with Coach McElwain in November to discuss the future. The meeting was scheduled for 5 p.m., and two hours later, Coach McElwain shows up. He was out recruiting (quarterback) Feleipe Franks.

Probably should have re-recruited Grier instead

Not surprised at all by McElwain's actions: to be a coach in the SEC you have to be ruthless and not care about the kids necessarily, but your team and winning. Doing it, regardless of cost, is of utmost importance. Otherwise, you will be fired.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Grier knew he should have had the "supplement" checked with trainers before consuming. McE reiterated that players are told again and again not to ingest anything, even cold medicine, without checking with trainers first. Grier cheated, knew he was cheating, and McE's response for him to transfer is appropriate.

Sounds good and you have to admire the class of being 2 hours late and then lying about it with a politician's answer.

I'm beginning to think that they don't tell anyone what the future plans are at Florida, because they never have any.

Bull fricking shite. We had LDR and Trask before Grier failed that test. Take this BS elsewhere. UF gets fricked because Mac can't sell UF for shite.

Yeah, I don't defend that part. That's a prickish passive aggressive move.

Florida would be a legit playoff team with Grier right now. Jokes on coach.
