Will Dak be Mississippi State's Archie or Eli in 20 years?

Up to this point, you really couldn't name a famous football alum from the people's university. Boobie Dixon and Fred Smoot are not famous because of their on-the-field prowess, and frankly, aren't that famous at all.
Will people still be wearing Dak jerseys and buttons into the 2020s? Will they change the speed limit on campus to 15, in another effort to copy another tradition from TSUN? What will happen when Dak ends up playing in the CFL and wins the Grey Cup? Will State fans go around claiming they won a Super Bowl even though they didn't (similar to how they are now bc they beat Auburn)?

Well, Dak has a very good shot of doing what Eli couldn't so there's a good chance.

This thread reeks of jelly

All of those are better, at their positions, than anyone OM has in the league right now.
Moulds had more pro bowl appearances than Archie FWIW.

KJ Wright is on my fantasy bench, so can confirm that he's in the NFL

I've been to Miss. State. 15 is a little too fast for driving around campus.

Dixon is having a season as well. Ole Miss fans should remember that name after the O-line watched it pass by several times

He said "at their positions", didn't know Wright played WR...

A non MSU fan asked me yesterday who my favorite MSU player of all time was and I said after thinking much Dak Prescott. His performance in the egg bowl last year along with this season is pretty damn hard to top.

KJ wright is acceptable... But who are the other players.. Those arent household names... I have no clue who they are.. If only state fans recognize them.. Then you've missed the point of the post..
No one is going to defend ms state copying everything ole miss does? I saw that as the red flag here? That's where I thought this debate was going... Dog walk.. Junction...
Faith and family... After ridiculing ole miss for using the concepts in recruiting...
But if you cant be them, emulate them.

You can't spell Wallace without two Ls.

Well Dak is closer to the He15man than either of the two you mentioned. And neither Manning ever QB'd the #1 team in the nation. So technically he has already achieved more.

So basically everyone in the country copied Ole Miss by walking their players through the fans on gameday?

Junction
Obviously you're ignorant to anything Mississippi State related, but the Junction was an actual railroad junction for decades before it had grass on it, so it is a rather iconic spot on campus.
