Why is every opposing fanbase (even Florida fans) praying for Saban to leave Alabama?

I can only speak for myself... I don't think Saban is going anywhere for a while, and Alabama will put up the money to keep him.

One person who could snatch him away is Jerry Jones, but that's just not going to happen.

I don't feel like looking it up but there was a thread on Gatorcountry not too long ago about Jerry Jones contacting Saban to be the next HC for the Cowboys.

I can't think of a worse owner/coach match than Jerry and Nick.

Phil Fulmer is the bama head coach in waiting.

The Cowboys have some really good players (minus the OL). Jones will spend the money for whatever it takes to win. I just don't think he has Saban on his radar at all.

How? LSU's offense will continue to be awful until they fire Crowton and get better play from their QBs. That's not going to be happen until at least the end of this season.

Yep, Saban would want full control, Jerruh wouldn't allow that.

Now if Saban was hired by a Craft or Polian, he would get full control.

BTW Hasn't everyone found out by now that TenTex does nothing but stir shite?

I think Alabama might go after Joe Pa after he leaves Penn State. They'd have another legend as Head Coach.

high possibilities of Nick Saban going to the Dallas Cowboys

you're insane if you think Saban will go to the NFL if he won't get full power.

Jerry would go after Bill Cowher before Saban. Cowher would make a ton of sense for them. He has experience running a 3-4 defense (which the Cowboys have the personnel for), he has weathered the expectations at an elite NFL team (Steelers), and he has won a Super Bowl.

I say we follow LSU's lead and hire a certified retard to win another title with all the talent Saban landed, then when they're all gone we can hire someone else.

Les Miles will be the perfect fit imho.

Classic case of PROJECTION -- corndogs obsessed with Saban projecting what they hope will happen.

No...b/c we won't have a next football coaching hire. Once CNS leaves, we'll just dissolve the program and funnel the money down to the Olympic sports.

The reason I'd like to see Saban leave Bama is not for reducing Bama's staus or increasing LSU's possibilities to beating Bama. It's to show a few Bama fans I know that Saban will always look at the next offer and consider it. Saban isn't a Bama Fan. He's a Bama coach getting paid for a job that he does well. If Jerry Jones comes a calling, Saban will listen and consider his offer. Also, if he does not like the Cowboys offer, Saban will use it as leverage for more money from Bama. Personally, I think Saban will be interested in second try at the one thing he was not successful at.
