It would be ridiculous for him to win over Young, but I'd just chalk that up to the Heisman no longer having meaning.

It's never really had a meaning.
I mean Joe fricking Namath didn't win the Heisman. It's political. Always has been.
Hence the media trying their damndest to push Hutchinson over Young (and Anderson).

That wasn't conspired due to a belief one player is actually better than another. The stats solved that in a few moments. That was Fox Sports and certain media heads promoting their own conferences, period.

He's also still a big name out west coming from one of the most high profile schools out there so he will get most of them as well, or he should. That leaves the other three, all from the same Midwestern/northwest region splitting a bunch of votes. Shouldn't even be close at all.
