Had a discussion lastnight with my best friend (who is an alabama fanatic) that got me wondering what the mass opinion would be.

He says Lutz will go pro THIS year.

I think he stays for his senior year and Ups his stock next year when AU will be more of a threat.

What's your opinion? And why?

He's not the kind of guy that would go pro early.

No, he seems pretty set on getting his education from what I've heard

That was my point, he's good and has the capability to be great next year given he stays healthy but my friend was hellbent on him leaving early and I don't see him as a "leave early type talent". Just wondering if I was wrong in my observations.

No! And I couldn't be happier.

We're gonna have him for another year, and he will be a stud in the pros, IMO.

He grew up a big AU fan. I seriously doubt he goes pro. I think he could put on some more muscle fwiw. I'm not saying he's fat, but I know him and Moseley party hard. Maybe cut down on those carbs is all.

He has shaped up alot from his freshman year. But if he put started going nuts in the weight room he'd be a total beast by next year.

He will stay for his senior year. A lot of potential for a good year for Auburn. His stock will rise in the NFL as well for one more year.

I've heard he is strongly considering going pro, the scouts are very high on his athletic ability. It will depend upon his season and where things end up but I would not be shocked to see him go pro.

He could go pro after this year and possibly get drafted in the 6th or 7th round if he's lucky.

Or he could have another year, put up some good numbers and potentially get his stock as high as the 4th round.

A great TE gives a team some crucial personality. He does for AU what Colin Peek did for Bama, but slightly better.

I am going to friend him on FB and tell him I'm a pro scout and he's a 1st round lock.

Ugh... Yeah. He was told there was a very good chance he could be a first day draft pick this year. He's considered to be the most athletic TE in the SEC right now from the ability to catch the ball and help with the offense. His areas to work on were blocking but he is a very good blocker as well.

Same person who told Ziemba he'd be a first day pick?
