2020 shortened season…Texas AM played FOUR home games which were Vandy, Arkansas, a terrible LSU team, and a 3 point win over Florida.

2012 - Kevin Sumlin had 6 home games including 2 FCS schools. He lost 2 of them.

2014 - Kevin Sumlin had 3 conference home games and lost all three of them.

2016 - Kevin Sumlin lost to a 5-7 Ole Miss team at home starting a true freshman qb in his first start after leading by 15 after 3.

Your attempt failed badly.

The new word out of Bright is there actually is a real battle taking place. With a new QB preparing to start, you want the rookie to have as many reps as possible
Comfirmed: the 2 qbs continue to rotate through with the 1's.

So...Mr.ColoradoAg, please stop perpetuating the Tarpley / Passwater novel which resurrects Manziel and afford Fisher to do his thing...and perhaps as a true Ag. Support both of these QBs as they push each other to help our team move into the CFP and ultimately to a Natl Championship!

Don’t be mad bro. This sounds personal, maybe you should see a therapist.

Weird melt. You'd think OP would be more worried about losing twice to a mediocre quarterback than whether his replacement was better or not.

You're really not going to get much worse than a 55% pass completion in college so if you're losing games to that then you got bigger shite to worry about.

Maybe the problem is on the sideline.

Jimbo was a good enough QB whisperer to take Matt Mauck to a national title. Let that sink in junior.

Whatever he is, he's also your ex-coach, dummy.

The problem with your statement is that the game has changed since then.

That explains Jameis Winston throwing for 8000 yards in 2 years at FSU and winning a Heisman in the process.

That was what, 8 years ago?

So Jimbo could coach a 4000-yard passer 8 years ago but somehow he forgot how with defenses even more suspect today? If Jimbo has the talent at QB he puts his players where it does the most good for team success. Which is exactly the same formula other great coaches use.

If there are real offensive questions in the SEC, think LSU. Can't run, at all. Can't protect the QB. Best offensive lineman just boogaloo out of BR through the portal. Starting WRs have to be replaced.

Throwing the ball around from the 20 to the 20 ain't no biggy in today's game. Figuring out the rest is a mother.

The game has changed a lot even in the last 8 years.

Yep, when LSU finishes dead last in passing defense in college football, I could see why you would want to feel that way.

You post more about Alabama and A&M than you do about your own team

Your concern for our QB situation is appreciated. First time I saw King play it was in the 4th round of the 6A playoffs his Jr year at Longview. Our school was coming into the game 12-0 and had just beat a Klein Collins team in Spiller's last game. King absolutely destroyed us with his arm and feet and they won by more than 4 TD's. He's a coaches son and extremely gifted.

That said, it's not like he is being thrown into the fire with no help. He will have a 1st Team All SEC RB and another RB that was MVP of the Orange Bowl. He will have an AA Tight End and an AA OT protecting him on one side with a 6th Year Sr OT transfer from Tennessee on the other. In the middle he will have the latest in the Matthews family lineage (the family with the most members ever to play in the NFL) and a littany of 4 and 5 Stars competing for the last 2 slots. Oh, and almost the entire D returns from what was an excellent unit last year.

The way you are acting you would think we are throwing out some scrub to save the day and win every game by himself. I hope that can make you rest easier in your concerns about the Aggie program.

And Jimbo only managed 105 yards against that defense.

And Miss State, the barn and mighty BAMA used your defense for target practice.

Probably because their coaches actually run modern offenses

Bo Nix is now a bad man. And Jimbo has won 2 of 3.

So LSU, winning when your losing.

He had a big win in 2018, honestly probably the biggest upset of his career.

Since then, he's managed two touchdowns in two games vs a mediocre defense in 2019 and a historically bad one in 2020.

Quite the decline.

Elko saved his arse in 2020 against Vandy and LSU, Florida's fumble saved his arse vs the Gators.

And when you are done making excuses for what you didn't get accomplished vs Jimbo and TAMU, LSU has lost 2 of the last 3.

That's so LSU, take an asterisk out of petty cash and buy yourself another excuse for failing to get it done on the field.
